i wanna know if light can make skin black possibly?
i have a desktop lamp on my desk, when i'm doing homework, i turn it on. after a while, i feel my forehead seems getting hot... i'm afraid it will blacken my skin. will it? |

No, I don't think so, that sounds weird. the only thing is u can get tan/freckles/sunburn from UV rays from the sun. I dont think lamps hav UV rays. LoL, ur skin'll just get really hot from being under the lamp...unless the lamp is....... AHHHHHHHHH

No I don't think a lamp with blacken your skin. That would be kind of cool.

I doubt it. You can only get a tan by like the sun, i would know wherever i go (rid in the car) i get a tan -___-

prolly not... i think only sunlight darkens your skin unless you have one of those tanning lamps

i don't know!
i'm so afraid.... coz i'm VERY easy to get tan  and some news told me that even working in a office, also can get a tan! so scare.... the light in office has UV rays? |

no i dont think so, i have a lamp right infront of me also.. it doesnt make any changed to the color of my skin...

i dont think there's a way you can. i have a large lamp light on my desk and its super bright, i stay on my pc for a long time and i dont get dark. relax, its just maybe the heat of your lamp that makes your forehead hot.

unless your lamp is magical and is like the ones in tanning beds...i think you'll be fine

I guess you could get a little burn or tan...but I doubt it can make your skin darker...
