Well everyday I'm the last one to leave the house so that means I have to lock up and make sure all the doors are closed before I leave. This morning as I straightened my hair I heard thumping in the kitchen so I looked around and I saw this shadow in the hallway that seemed to be getting closer so what do I do ? I stand there looking around the corner with my hot hot straightner in my hand and I start burping really loud to let the intruder know someone is at home ( as if that is going to scare them away ) .. After a couple of burps I decide to check out the kitchen to see if I spot a criminal but turns out the fan was set on automatic and that is what I was hearing.. haha what a loser I am.

I've gone through a couple of these.. I almost hit my mom with a metal pole once thinking she was an intruder in the middle of the night.

Anyhow , what would you do if an Intruder broke into your home ? Or have you ever thought an intruder broke in ?

Please share the love and intruderness of it all throb.gif

no i haven't, but i have had my paranoid moments. when i went to that retreat last week, a bunch of us were in this huge cabin (the nicest one there biggrin.gif) and we stayed up talking in the living room until 3am or something, and some of the guys scared the crap out of us by coming around and knocking on the windows and stuff...
it was pretty funny afterwards though. rolleyes.gif

once.. i keep hearing these noises. Like the doors opened and closed. But that was me trying to sleep, in my bed, being sooo damn paranoid.

And when I woke up in the middle of the night, I heard some unfamiliar voices. Maybe it was me. Then some quiet laughter. So I went downstairs .. quietly.. and grabbed a ruler.. (lame, yes) and I went in and saw my mom with smoe friends. I screamed at first, because she was at work, and then she yelled at me for being up so late. (:

Not intruders, but ghosts. *booo scary*.
I get really freaked out when I'm home alone. I get all paranoid and lock myself in my room. When I hear the floor crack I would just lay against the wall, scared. Haha.

If a intruder came, I would hide somewhere ph34r.gif.

Oh yes, it was funny indeed for me.

It was a dark and story night (It truly was!), and I just came home from Marching Band Practice. (ends at 8:00 PM) And the door was 'mysteriously' unlocked.

So I was like.."Huh, thats funny."

So I came in and to have the luck of all people, the electricity was out because of the storm. So basically, I had no light in the house and I could not see who was in my house.
I clutched my flagpole(Colorgaurd) tightly and I went foward into my house. I heard a noise to the left and I was like "OH NO YOU DIDNT!!" And I swung my Flagpole as hard as I could to the left.
I found out that I actually hit someone and I was happy about it. So then I kept on smacking him with my flagpole and there was an endless barrage of flagpole impalement.
So yeah, then the lights came back on and it showed that it was my friend who was gonna play a prank on me.

It still makes me laugh everytime I see his face because I made a big, fat bruise mark there... mellow.gif

It always happens whenever I walk alone from school to the library/store >< I always think there's someone walking right behind me or something, but it's always the shuffling of my feet that makes it sound like there's two people X_x;; I hate paranoia

Once me and my sister heard and saw a dark shadow rustling around in my backyard and it was really late at night. The dark shadow knocked hard on our window and we got freaked out and ran away. At first, we thought it was our dad at first but we went into the living room and there he was with our mom watching TV and when we asked them they said "No." It was really scary. >_<

dang, that's getting me scared now since I'm always the last to leave the house too! I tend to be really paranoid.

If someone broke in, I'd probably hide under my bed. I'd be too scared to face them. But then I'd hate myself later for not stopping them! pinch.gif

I always hear noises....is that a bad thing?
Once I woke up early, and I went into the living room to watch TV. While going down, the rocking chair catches my eye. My backpack and sweater are on it and the wind was making the chair rock back and forth. It look like (to my paranoid self atleast) a person curled up in the chair. So I just stared...and stared....and stared. I then came to the logical conclusion that this was one patient robber and that I should run upstairs, hide under the covers, and let this person finish their job. rolleyes.gif I was sooo smart

once i was sitting at home and someone unlocked my bottom lock of the door. and then they tried to open the door; but couldnt so they just left. that happened like 5 times and now im hecka scared because im scared someone might break in.

Well lets see..

There's this damn dove that, every morning, makes this highly annoying beat with its damn beak and oh man. It makes me just wanna go outside, grab that damn thing, pluck all its feathers out, and throw it over the fence. =]

I'm not really that violent though so yah..

Yah. I'm the last person left at home too. I have to lock everything up and yada yada. Haha. I even straighten my hair too. Well. A lot of freaky stuff happens in the morning to me when I'm alone. Sometimes I just hallucinate and freak myself out due to lack of sleep. Yes. I have quite the imagination. happy.gif

If a robber ever tried to break into my house..well. I would. If he tried to grab me or anything. Kick him quite hard in his wavos van charos. =] But I would use my scorching hot straightner to protect me just like you mentioned. Gosh. The ideas I get off here. x]

Well i've never had an intruder break into my house before, but what i'd do if I saw an intruder in my house is lock my door, grab my cell phone, go into my closet into the secret little room in it where no one can see, and call the police.

one night I was at my grandparent's oollllldddd house and in the middle on the night the was the sound of glass crashing. I thought it was just one of their plates that fell. well my grandmother heard it too and decided to get up and clean it up so no one would step on the glass but she couldn’t find anything. we still to this day don't know what made that sound.

when i hear scary sounds.. i usually just stay where i am completely still. don't know how i stay so still.. but i do it. i guess i do it because of fear.

like once.. i was just downstairs at like 3am.. it was soo dark. and i heard this really really weird noise. so i was sitting there under my blanket SOO still. and just looked the way i heard the noise. luckily it just turned out to be creaks in my house.

if an intruder were to come into my house? holy crap, i would be so scared. i would probably hide.. my dad taught me a way to do it. he told me to go into his closet.. get a bat and to hide against the wall .. and when he walked in to hit him in the face then the balls. haha wow-- hopefully it never has to happen to me!

Oh yeah, when i was a 11 years old, i spot a guy peeking through the window in the middle of night. i heard someone was banging and hitting the net, window, and the door next to the window. it was quitw annoying but fearsome too. My mom didnt even hear it ( my mom and i share the same room before ) .. so .. the guy kept on banging like hell and i started to get soo scare and hide under my blanket. my mom woke up and open the door in a mean scary bitchy way .. it was my dad .. -_-''

Also, i heard a sqeeeking sounds from no where .. after a long time, i saw my brother and friends passing by in the hallway, it was my bro and his friend who was making those noise. i dont know how they made that noise.

yeah once we got robbed, but it wasntr a fright for me as much as my sister. the robber was still in there and my sister was at the front she told me she took out the mail and headed for our front porch when she dropped all the letters ( thats God's warning) and then she picked them up and when she got in there the robber had left buh like i think he was still in there and still would have been but my sister dropped the letters and gave him/her some time to escape..

oh but sometimes yeah that feeling u think someones there and there isnt ANYONE and in ur case u almost hit ur mom with a pole... haha im still laughing i would've probably made sure it was a stranger and i would hit that person with a heavy object if in the house i guess, otherwise, i dunno wat i'd do, if everyone got out of my house on time and nobody got hurt, i'd rather just warn everyone if i can, rather than attack the intruder somehow

1. we were robbed before. when i was 9, my sister was upstairs and she left so my mom told her to make sure she locked the door. well i went upstairs and realized the door wasn't locked. i went downstairs told my mom and yelled at my sister why she didn't lock it. everybody was mad at her...and she's like "i swear i locked it!!!!!" then that's when we found out they stole all my mom's gold and me and my sister's gold. they also stole $100 from me and took my wallet. grrrr

2. i was home alone and my dad told me to lock the door, well i was so out of my mind that day...i um kinda left the door wide open but suprisingly nobody stole anything thank god. or i would have been soooooo dead!!!!!

but i also hear a lot of things in the house when i'm home alone or just in the middle of the night. cuz it's so quiet i hear EVERYTHING. there were too many times to mention or remember right now.

I've thought someone was in my house before, but it always ended up being nothing.

If someone really was in the house, I have a couple of different options, depending on who is home. If I am the only one at home, I'd grab my phone and hop onto the roof outside of my window and call the cops. If my kid brother and sister were home (this assumes that my parents are not home), I'd probably sneak downstairs and get one of Dad's guns (which is one of the reasons he taught me how to use them), unless I could sneak Liz and David out of the window too.
Anyway, whoever it was would have to get through the dog first, and that wouldn't be easy.

that's one of my biggest fears.. someone breaking into my house.
yeah, i've heard noises and such but nothing too scary.

in the middle of the night my dog will wake up and just stare at the door, like someone's there and it's really scary.

and when i'm home alone this guy in a red station wagon always comes to my house.. that one really freaks me out.

Whoa, yeah, I overreact sometimes when I hear strange noises, but then I go and "investigate" them with my brother, and I bring hairspray and lead pencils so if they really were a burglar, then I'd have something to defend myself with. happy.gif
Once, though, my cousins were at a sleepover and my dad was coming home from work, and my oldest cousin got scared so she grabbed a broom and almost attacked my dad with it. xP

lol Yeah. I'm always the last one to leave the house for school to go to the bus stop, and my mom always tells me to, of course, never open the door for anyone that I don't know. Well, the other day my friend said she would come to my house and walk with me to the bus stop because her mom couldn't drive her to school, and I had totally forgotten about that. I hear loud knocks on the door, and since I couldn't look through the eye whole (I'm too short rolleyes.gif), I just didn't open the door and waited for them to go away. The person keeps knocking louder and louder. I'm still getting dressed and only have my bra and pants on. I got so scared! So, I slip on my jacket and open the doro and my friend jsut screams at me yet laughs at the same time. XD Now, as I think about it, I don't know why we were so scared. lol

Well long story short my grandparents own a cary out and someone robbed it at night when my grandpa was in the back he shot them :-P Haha not funny but it is. If someone broke in I know they would die. When ever im at my dads and he leaves for a week or so I always have a gun by me. Call me crazy or what ever but its a big house to be alone in. I have a sawed off 12 guage under my bed right now. And another hanging in the shop by a sighn that says intruders will be shot and then it says survivors will be shot again.

i've never heard anything myself, but my friend emily told me about this time when she was staying up really late and chatting online. she suddenly hears someone coming down stairs quietly so she turns off the light and then hides. it turned out to be her dad (with a baseball bat in his hands) creeping down the stairs because he thought she was an intruder.

I'm really, really paranoid about intruders in my house...DX

Once I was home alone...and when I went into the bathroom to wash my face, I saw my grandmother's ENORMOUS butcher knife on the sink counter...which freaked me out. So basically I took it and searched my house with it wielded like a sword. (I'm telling you, the thing is very heavy and bigger than my head)

But there were no intruders. ^-^

Whenever I get paranoid, I just listen to some music or watch TV. It calms me down. I think it's mostly the silence that makes me so paranoid.

Ive done the same thing, I leave every day at about 12 or 1 ish, and our house is about 9,000 sq feet, and there are doors all around the house. Our security system beeps in the house when someone opens the door but, when I got out of the shower one day, all the sudden the power goes out. I looked down out the window and well that does not help because we live in the country. I called my neighbor who lives like a mile away. and well thank god everyone's power was out, after that I though I herd a door close - so I slammed my door shut and locked it and called the po po, and well it takes them about 20 to 30 mins to get to my house, so I went down the hall and went into my mom and dads room and got a gun hoping they would make me shoot them. I went down out back stairs which is useless knowing that they could use the front stairs and sneak up behind me, and to make a long story short, it comes to find out it was my mom who took off from work - I wanted to shoot someone dangit. Damn our house, its like a magnet for idiots who want to steal crap.

Yeah plenty, either it's my friend or my dad. I keep a gun with me though. Small pistol, but it gets the job done. I've only fired it a couple times.

actually..there was this one time where i thought someone was coming into our house from the garage. so i took my dads meat cleaver (butcher knife. BIIG butcher knife. we're chinese so we're into the knives and cooking) and i held it above my head thinking that i could just slash it into the our door scaring the bad guy off when the door opened..and out popped..MY DAD. aparently, he decided to come home earlier from work.

Yeah I always thought there was an intruder at my house in Utah. Because it's a big house with 4 floors. The garage door is in the 3rd floor. And I feel like someone's coming inside from the doors even though everyone is sleeping and I'm still doing internet. Or the other time when there was a tornado in Salt Lake City --- I thought I heard someone opening the door. I was so scared that I went upstairs to hide. When my family came back home from somewhere. I heard the garage door opening, so I went downstairs with full of relieve. When I went down. The door I thought someone was coming in, left the door open. I was so scared that I almost cried going downstairs to the garage door. So I told my dad what happened. He looked outside everywhere with my stepbrother. But no sign of intruder. But I'm glad that my family came!

There was this idiot that was ramming himself into our front door. Lmfao. He didn't know the lights were on and everyone was inside watching TV. He kept ramming into the door and trying to get into our house. What an idiot.

What would I do? I'd turn up the TV really loud.

You were burping? That's a weird way to alert an intruder.

I don't think anyone could get in our house because we have a very good alarm system. Haha, and I have a metal bat under my bed. I live in a two story house so they can't try to get in to my room without getting in our house lol.

I thought I heard something, and I got a 12in knife from the drawer and walked around with it. Luckly noone was there, or I would be running from the law.
