Here are the general forum rules that you must follow before you start any debate topics. Please make sure you've read and followed all directions.

- Please remember, not everyone thinks like you. People have different ways of thinking and different perspectives. Let's respect each other's thoughts and responses.
- PLEASE, search before making new topics--especially popular topics like "God" and "Abortion" etc.
- PLEASE, read through the thread or at least a couple pages before posting. We have to maintain a certain level of maturity in here.

what is your definition of truth? of lies?
is "a lie, is a lie, is a lie"? how about under circumstances? ie. say...prior to ww2. you saw a jewish person run in one direction. nazi comes and asks you if you saw a jew. what would you say? ie. the classic: woman comes out of the dressing room and asks her hubby if her dress is pretty. to the husband, its ugly - really ugly. however, she seems to like it. what should he say? i guess a lot of it depends on morals.
