I already know a bunch of sex offenders stay near my school cause there was something on the news about it today. about how my county is planning to be more strict on sex offenders...something i think they should have been doing.

i'm not saying that everyone lies about being raped or that i don't believe them, i'm just saying that people overexaggerate about what a dangerous place like new york city is, i don't need you to tell me about being raped or whatnot

Thanks for the statistical facts that told me nothing rolleyes.gif . Thats not the point I was trying to make. I didnt say anything about New York being dangerous. When you said that some cases of sexual assaults may be exaggerated I was saying that alot of cases go unreported no matter where you stay. There are many reason why girls dont report rape cases. I know a couple of girls that have been raped and refuse to report. You cant depend on statistics to tell you the whole story when it comes to unreported cases. and that is all i have to say about that. you argue your points all you want though. but the discussion between you and i about this has ended

I found a site similar to this, excpet they didn't give out a person's picture. I remember there was 100 something in my area. About 35 lived about a mile or closer from me.

I looked it up a while back and there was a predator two streets down, and this is part of our neighborhood still, a really really nice neighborhood. Scary.

Then I found one right down the road from my boyfriend's house, and three near my church.

Err, I'm not giving into the stereotypes of my city. There are a lot of sex offenders in NYC, over 400 listed on that site. I wasn't saying that NYC is a really dangerous place, I live here so I know for myself.

Anyways, there are about 11 sex offenders in my zip code, and one of them was pretty close to where I live...
