ok there is this kid who is liek one of my closest friends... he is like a little/ big brother to me and i like him and it is obvious he lieks me ... now here is the delimma... we are sort of kind of going out.. like he has not officlally asked me out but we act like we're going out.. no sexual stuff or kissing or making out jus a lot of the puppy love relationship stuff.. like holding hands and hugging...we have liked each other before but at the time i had a b/f and that did not end up so well... in the end i ended up hurting him.. this has happened couple times before... now i'm single and we obviously still like each other... but i'm afraid i'm going to hurt him again so i am sort of very distant from him... like i
m afraid if i act as i usally would with a boy friend he'll end up getting very attached to me n he will get hurt and vice versa... he is a very depressed person and this is the first time in 5 months that i have seen him happy..... i can't stand to see him depressed but i am afraid i am going to hurt him.... but i also feel bad that i am being very distant.... is keeping this distance good?... or shud i just express all my emotions?... please help i feel so terrible |

The more you avoid him, the more confused and heartbroken he would get. Tell him how you feel, and you guys might end up with each other. You won't hurt him, and you don't have to keep avoiding him.

IN MY OPINION..I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD KEEP THE DISTANCE BECAUSE KEEPING THE DISTANCE MIGHT HURT HIM EVEN MORE! AND YOU SAID YOU ARE HIS CLOSEST FRIEND..WELL..ACT LIKE IT..BE NICE TO HIM..BUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE HIM..THEN DON'T ACT LIKE YOU LIKE HIM OR ELSE HE WOULD GET MORE ATTRACTED TO YOU.

my GOD! so obvious! love is always taking a risk. u need to take a risk in breaking his heart. in case if u ever do break his heart u better make the days that he's with u the best days of his life. u guys obviously like each other a lot. just go for it n see where it leads. worry about breaking his heart wen it happens. dont worry about it now. tell him how u feel. u SHOULD NOT keep your distance.

If you want to keep distance between you two...then you need to talk to him about it first. You shouldn't just avoid him without telling him what's wrong. But if you like this guy alot...then you should take a crazy chance. Even if he is your close friend....he can always make a great boyfriend. I think you should risk it because you do like him and the only reason [I'm assuming] that you hurt him before was because you had a boyfriend...since you're single now...it lessens the chance of you hurting him.
