If you click on the layer you want moved, and you use the move tool, then only that layer should move..the text usually gets its own layer automatically.

idk why the arrow doesnt show , but I had the arrow ontop ( and clicked ) the E , and if you see the layers its on the bottom layer. Its harder to do with smaller fonts , and etc. For some reason it doesnt lock on the layer I want to work on and locking the layer doesnt work neither.

Wait..so you want to move the E, but the bottom moves instead? Or is it the other way around?

Yeah I want to move the E around but the bottom layer is activated , the only way I could move the E is putting the arrow on top of the E..which is weird because I didnt have to do that before , All i had to do before is click on the layer and it will move without no problem and without the arrow having to be completely on it.

Err..I've always clicked on the layer in the layers window, then moved it...it's never been any different. Hm.

Maybe you can reset your options or something. I'm not quite sure if you can do that though. Is the E layer highlighted? And you're using the move tool? The button on the top right?
