Has anybody ever heard of mashups? It's basically when you combine 2 or more songs into one. Example, "Boulevard of Broken Songs" is a mashup between Greenday and Oaisis.
Whats your favorite mashup song? Does anybody have any recommendations for any other mashup songs? Er please refrain from posting "no i've never heard of that but it sounds kewl" 10 times after one another. Thanks! Edit: yeah i guess the Jay-Z/Linkin Park stuff is a mash-up basically. So there's another example (though definitely more popular and well known) for you guys. |

Oh, I've heard of them. My friend is obsessed with them. A few that I've heard
DJ Alec - Green day + Thirteen Senses + Smash Mouth One with Beyonce and Maroon 5 Linkin Park/Britney Spears - Faintly Toxic Eh. Lazy. *stops* |

Well, I've never heard only 2 combined...but all I know about "mashups" I guess are like cheerleading soundtracks, where they out like 10 songs together...=/

to kristin, melissa, james, julia, and everyone else who lives/lived in georgia, 99x made the boulevard of broken songs one. (my lit teacher of 2 days djs there too). they have more on 99x.com if you search for mash ups

Um, my friend has that satalite radio. like serius or w/e its called. They have lots of mashups. I like some of them, but others just make me blah, and i change the channel.

I've heard the Green Day and Oasis mashup. It isn't that great..I don't really like it all that much.
