I haven't seen a topic on this yet so I decided to ask. If this has been posted before, the mods that be have the permission to thwap me into the next century.
I personally know someone with insectophobia, but she won't admit it. And it's not just insects in general, it's flies. Here's the big list of phobias for those of you who don't really know what you're scared of. If you don't want to scroll through all the different phobias, just type Ctrl+F and type in a keyword for whatever you're scared of. A little trick I picked up along the way -- basically because I'm always on the computer. Like my friend, I actually have insectophobia, too. I actually like bugs though. Love worms and flies and caterpillars and moths and probably any other kind of insect you can think of, but for some reason I am deathly afraid of snails. I really don't know, I can take spiders and centipedes and other creepy crawly things, but I can't stand snails. I'm insane, really. So yeah, what kind of phobia do you have? Mucho love Alyson |

Lilapsophobia
Fear of tornadoes and hurricanes. Hurricanes dont really scare me, cuz you can get out of town before one hits, and I live in Dallas so we dont really get them, but tornadoes?!?! Aw hell naw. All unpredictable. I hate them. I fear them. I think I'd die of a panic attack if one came near me. By the way, cool topic. :D |

 i'm like the exact opposite of you. i HATE creeeeeepy craawwwly things like centipedes and spiders who(?) walk around reaaaaaly fast, but snails? they're so slow!!!! i'm generally insectphobia-ish. i hate bugs. caterpillars, moths, spiders and all...ick.  so yes...but it's so intersting that you're scared of snails...they're so slooooowww...they die if you put salt on them, u know? or was that only for slugs...

Yet, I do have a slight fear of crucifexes....
I don't know why, but it just seems.... haunting thinking about a person getting brutally murdered in it. |

Decidophobia- Fear of making decisions. (haha, well not really fear but i'm just very indesicive) Helminthophobia- Fear of being infested with worms. (eek i HATE worms  )Scoleciphobia- Fear of worms. ^ Taeniophobia or Teniophobia- Fear of tapeworms.^^ Parasitophobia- Fear of parasites. ^^^ Odontophobia- Fear of teeth or dental surgery.
