Mommy Where do..., babies come from? Options

Before I learned about "the birds and the bees" I though that when couples got married someone would just hand them a baby and they became parents. so once they said their "I do's" they would recieve some random baby.

Where did you think babies came from before you learned the horrible truth?

naw, when i was younger i thought that everyone was adopted. because i was. And my brother was adopted seperately from me a few years later, so i thought everyone got their babies from the airport. lol i dunno

i dont think i ever asked this question before. as a kid i thought you automatically get a baby when you marry.

To be honest, I never even thought about "How it happened."

And I didn't even know until 5th grade..when my firend told me about it. I was shocked I thought she was lieing! Esp. when she told me about the "period" thing. But then, I got a little more detail when Sex Ed classes began that year...I was shocked.

thats what I thought to. The someone explained it to me in 3rd grade, but i didn't understand it fully. Until 6th grade i thought it would happen if someone peed in there

Well, when I was seven I watched that movie "Look Who's Talking" and in the openning scene all you see is the two people kissing and sperm swimming like crazy. As the process goes on you see nothing else elluding to any type of sexual activity, so I thought that was all there was to it.

My friend told me how her friend was told where babies come from. This is cute to me. Its all about gardeners. The mommy and daddy go out to the garden, the mommy digs a hole and the daddy plants the seeds in the hole. Its starts to grow and the babie comes out of the hole. haha. I love that.
