So i might use this poem for a poetry slam at my school..but i have to finish it first. So here's what i have so far:
Let me ask you What does it take For you to discriminate And race hate? Instead of trying to appreciate What I bring to this multicultural table Take time to learn from my multicultural fable You need to learn to respect Cuz I yearn for respect And I’m gonna earn that respect er... |

i can't wait til u finish it! that reminds me..i need to hit up a poetry slam club..havdnt heard from those readings for sooo long. i love poetry slams...but i dont write it...caz i suck haha

dont mean to sound like simon, but that was very bland and very boring. The concept is discriminating against the discriminators. It's sinking to their level. Definitely unfinished.
I have a question, when you say asians, do you mean orientals? I dont see very many people currently discriminating against russians. The red scare doesnt count. |

the beginning was all cool, and exciting.. i know its not finished.

Yes, russia is big i critique to the best of my ability. you shouldnt take it so personally. It's not insulting your poem or you. It's telling you the weaknesses and things that you could possibly work on. you speak great english for an asian. That's really commendable. Or are you american?
