My blog is trapped in the chatterbox

Hey!..i need another help again sad.gif ...i made a skin for my xanga...and i tried to put a chatterbox in it...and my blog entries got stuck in my chatterbox...and i want to put my blog entries beside the navigation thing...can someone pls help and see if there's anything wrong with the code below?..and how do u put the ad thing above ur skin and not in the blog thing?..thank u!! My Xanga

it still doesn't work...my blog entries are still in the chatterbox...

where do u place this code?^...maybe u could go to my xanga and see wat's wrong with it...thanx for ur help!My Xanga

there i placed it in for you.. i put it in before the chatter box code..so now just adjust it

i pasted the whole thing in my header thing...but it still doesn't work..there's no chatterbox but my entries are all in a small box...lolz...

ok...i put the chatterbox in the navigation box...i think it's betta this way...but does anyone have any idea to put the entries beside the navigation thing and not below it?...and how do u put that banner or the ad above the skin and not in the blog?..thanx!...My Xanga

To put the entries beside the navigation, you'll have to position and size the navi div first, then change the margins for the blog div to move up and over. Negative numbers move the blog up, I know that. I keep forgetting which type of integer moves it to the right, but I think it's negative.

i have position the navi div already..and then i try to move the margins for the blog...but then everytime i do that...the navi thing will move up again...how do u make the navi thing stay there and only move the blog?..thanx!

try making the margin top farther away and less to the left... and make it a little smaller then move your bloggs around

its like a puzzle.. play around with it... and for the bloggs make the margin top make it more toward the top since its too low... ermm.gif

but it seems that navigation thing is alwiz on top of the blog entries...can it go down?

Oh! I think I know how to fix this. I had the exact same problem on a skin I justm ade a few days ago. No matter how I changed things, it still sorta..stayed joined. wacko.gif At least, I think it's the same problem. lol. Try this though..

I found that to seperate them I had to do one thing. See how in your main blog div..you know, where you vary the height and width and move it and what not...try making that positive, rather than negative. So only one of the boxes has a -### and one has just a ###. Hm. I'm not sure if Im' explaining this right.

Like this for your blogs:


And this for your navigation:


See how the top numbers beside "margin" have a - beside them? Make sure there's no - beside the ones in the naviagation. And just play around with the numbers till it's how you want it. Just keep the - in only one of the two codes. I hope this helps, it fixed it for me.

ok...my xanga skin works already...i figured out how to do it...i must put the navi div layer thing on top of the blog div layer....thanx u guys for ur help...it means a lot to me..hehe...but does anyone know how to put a chatterbox in the xanga skin??..thank u!
