i always feel weird when i go to reach out to hold my girlfriends hand. not that i feel weird holding her hand, its just it feels weird to me reaching out to hold onto her hand.

It is not wrong for a guy to hold his girlfriends hand. I love holding hands, therefore I would not be/am not upset when my boyfriend reaches for my hand.

I think I know what he means...I don't know if this will help you out...but when me and my ex went out, it was usually me who reached out to hold his hand...when I asked him about why he never took the initiative to hold my hands, he said that he didn't know if I would like holding hands with him so he just let me take the initiative with holding his hand.

Aww no, its not wrong at all. In fact its one of the best things a guy can do to show he cares. I love holding hands (just to add to all of the girls who have said this so far.)
