We, the members of Createblog.com need a Member Conflict Forum. a forum to deal out our problems with other members. if we dont, then people will continue to bash everyone. and thefore CB Will become a bad bad place.

A Member Bash Forum is called member bashing, which is against the rules. Get a rant xanga or something. It will create even more conflicts, especially with members who aren't even involved.

Hm, okay. So it's not exactly a member bashing forum? Just a place to sort out problems, right? But seriously, do you guys think it'll work? People are gonna start cursing out everyone in that forum, and not that I think it wouldn't be funny, but I just don't think it'll work. Bleh, it's not even my decision, sorry, I'll shutup now.

Maybe just a Rant forum sounds better then a member bashing forum. I mean a rant is where you can get your anger out on nothing...idk I think i miss understood.

we dont condone member bashing so a member bashing/conflict forum is certainly out of the question.
imo personal problems should be handled privately, only between the people involved. there is no need, nor does it do any good, to get the entire community involved. so im even inclined to say no to a member resolution forum. if anything, the two parties involved should contact a staff member to act as the arbitrator if no resolution is agreed upon privately. |

if we did that, it would probably just turn into a lot of spam and things could most likely get really heated and than it would just start a lot of more fights. i think that if people want to deal with their problems online, they should do it on AIM...not an online forum.

At a board I used to frequent there was a special section set aside just for bashing/ranting/being stupid/whatever. None of the posts made there went to your grand number of posts. And, when somebody posted a stupid/pointless topic it was sent there.

I'm sorry, but I don't feel that this is a good idea. Yeah, it will keep those topics out, but they will just be somewhere else and if there is a forum, then people will think that it is "accepted" and there will be 10 times more "bashing", which, is against the rules

I agree w/ Just_Dream and Micron. Such a forum only instigates bashing. Just because it's a different forum doesn't mean the angry feelings don't get carried over to other forums.
And I agree w/ nightmare4taki, why do some people get a good feeling when they bash? Are they helping anyone's feelings? Anyway, mean-spiritedness may be here to stay, but atleast try and make it nice in this place. Make an effort, please, Thanks. |

You've gotten your opinions from moderators. It's a definite no, at least for now. I doubt that such a forum would ever be created on createBlog, but hey, you never know what might happen in the future. Sorry, but those who want this forum is taking this out of proportion, no offense. I mean it in the sense that the reasoning behind that kind of forum is most likely to bash a particular member(s). We don't want that going here. We'd be going back on our words if we allowed soemthing like that. Please try and see what we're coming from about this.
