does anyone have a tutorial for making a magazine sorta thing. like, with writing all over it. erm, more like a collage. how do you make paper?

i can't find a example. i know i've seen it before but it kinda came off the top of my head. like, how do i make a realistic collage? you know how some people decorate their notebook covers with pictures randomly placed and stuff, something like that.
