Sorry if there is a topic like this..

but i heard that Abercrombie and Hot topic is owned by the same company.. is this true?

i think its pretty unique. one store is more sophisticated and preppy and one store is for the wild and funky type

i only hate a&f because i just think that their clothes are a rip-off. i mean, a tee-shirt with some paint splashes on it with A&F on it for $40? that is just wrong! sick.gif
i have not looked at the prices for hot topic so i can't reply on that store.

if it's bought on sale at abercrombie i don't mind. but other than that, i completely agree. i was in their with my mom and we were waiting for my sister to try some stuff on, and i saw these jeans. so i go look at them, and they're covered in paint splatters, have giant rips in them, retarded patches covering parts of it, really ugly wash, etc. and they're freaking $120. maybe i'm just not up with fashion, but those pants truely looked like shit. i would laugh if i saw someone wearing them in real life.

and yeah, i'm pretty sure old navy, gap, and banana republic are also owned by the same company. i used to think american eagle and abercrombie were too, but then someone told me that wasn't right.

I actually wouldnt be suprised, cuz besides the band t-shirts, the clothes at a&f vs hot topic are like from the same press. Its like..the clothes fit the same, same pattern, different print. I really wouldnt be suprised.

Oh? Is that so?

Well companies like to make money, and i don't like either of the stores anyways. They both annoy me and how much money they seem to take away from people.

However, Abercrombie has always annoyed me A LOT more than Hot Topic.

Hot Topic is owned by Gap and I heard Gap is owned by Express...It doesn't matter that their clothing doesn't match, they make a lot of money from different people, don't they?

I don't hear too much of Abercrombie and Fitch.
