This is a very interesting question, so give it some thought before simply stating your favorite clothing line....
It really makes you think what the future will be like realistically. Will the world keep changing as rapidly as it is? or will it slow down, stop, or even reverse? Maybe the world will be completley different in 500 years, or will it? O.o anyway, I think that in 500 years... Coca-cola will still be around. Yeah, they are just about everywhere, and its not like people dont like coke. |

I somehow think Malboro (sp?) and some other tobacco companies will be around 500 years since there are a lot of smokers nowadays, so why won't there be more smokers in the future?

i don't think any of these companies will exist that long from now. but if i had to pick one, i would say microsoft. but its a reeeeeeaaally long time from now, because if you think about it, i don't know of any companies now that have been around for 500 years.

|Think about it, what type of companies stand the test of time? There are beer companies, coffee and tea companies, and trades that are still around from the 16th Century. Therefore I would say something fundamental like 'PG tips' (tea) will be around for ever. Although teh way teh nanny state is going, Caffeine, Alcohol and Tobacco will all have been brainwashed from our society. Fast food will hopefullly fade away, and in the revolution that IS going to come, mega companies like Halliburton, Mcdonalds, Gap etc will rot in hell. What is popular now WILL change, just look at the Simpsons. Also any companies that cannot adapt, for example car companies perhaps will fade away.
