For me, tomboys help me relax and be myself but it also takes away from the sexual edge to an extent. Some guys prefer tomboys, some prefer girly-girls. I like to have an even amount of both.

Im with you man! Tomboys are much better cause thegirly girls only want to make them look like whores and such (no offence, but this happens in our school so im making reference to our school), but tomboys usually lead to better relationships and tend to last longer... and not to mention cost a shitload less when it comes to the mall... whew thank god...

i think that 9 outta 10 girly girls want really expensive items (rings, clothes, etc.) that they get their money offa their "date"... poor guy...

Durr, that's why a girl is called a tomboy because she likes girls, not guys. Then if one person says that a girl is a tomboy, but that girl went out with a guy, then isn't that called a "real girl" instead? rather than a tomboy? if you say that a girl is a tomboy, then she goes out with a guy [or like a guy], then that's being hypocrite.


The same thing goes with gays, they are called gays because they are attracted to their own sex [or kind], which is also guys, though physically gays are guys. Not the other way around, they are not attracted to the opposite sex, which is girls. That's the same thing with a tomboy.


Plus, it's not because you don't label yourself as a girly girl, doesn't also mean that you're a tomboy. Isn't there any girls that can't be called as just "girls"? You can't be either of the two, some girls are just girls. They don't act girly, but just regular girls. Girls who doesn't move as the word labeled "girly" doesn't also say that they are tomboys.

Girly girls are intelligent (unless like the poster above /\), cute, hott and sexc all in the same package, long hair, short skirts, bra/halter tops, tiny knix etc. Lovely eye candy. Willing to try and do anything. Get pissed up on 2 pints of lager or 1/2 a bottle of wine. Expensive for 2 dates then really low maintenence.

Tomboys also are intelligent, can be cute but are not too interested in looking or acting sexc or hott. Usually have short hair, jeans or trousers only with t-shirts or shirts, unless they really HAVE to wear a dress, usually very conservative and plain underwear. Will look to be in control and are really wild once warmed up. But boy can those girls drink!!! Really cheap to snare..then much more expensive..Grand Prix, WWF, Rock climbing(!!)

...stick to girly girls if you want an easy life.

if you're a tomboy, it means that you most likely have more guy friends than you do girl friends, you play sports. it doesnt matter if you wear jeans more than skirts, and a lot of "girly" girls i know play electric guitar. you might be just a normal girl. why don't you just be yourself and let people like you for who you are.

really? my definition of a tomboy is a girl that is interested in more masucline things such as playin rough sports, working on cars/computers. They have a more boyish manner but when in a releationship they play hard to get. Tomboy's doesnt mean that girls that are attracted to girls. I believe the correct term for that is lesbian. I wouldn't really consider you a tom-boy. But more a tom-boy than a "girly girl." I mean, I bite my nails and I don't wear desses and I wear jeans and.. not tee shirts but the tighter ones. I never wear make-up except maybe a bit of eyeliner when I go out (sometimes). But that's it. I'm not considered a tom-boy. I used to be the biggest tom-boy of all time but I grew out of that.

I'm kinda both..

I like to hang with the guys more than the girls at school. I like throwing a football around & wrestling with the guys. I'm not afraid of being play-punched by a guy, 'cause I'd do it back. I like go through the woods & such. I don't freak out when I see a snake or a worm, & I would hold both (especially a snake). & I haven't tried it yet...but I would LOVE to play paintball. I don't care if I get hurt a bit. (I've actually tried boxing with my friend's brother once & he's 2 years older than me. It was painful, but fun.) I'm just about fearless when I'm challenged. For instance, one day my friend's brother was showing off. He dared me & my friend to do a backflip on their trampoline, & a frontflip going off of it. My friend chickened out, but I attempted both. (& I have the busted lip to prove it )

Some of my clothes are girly...some are just plain & casual. I can fit in with both the girls & the boys. Sometimes I'm a girly girl, sometimes I'm a tomboy & sometimes I'm in-between. But also, when I'm hanging with the guys..I'm not completly like just 'one of the guys'. I'm still a girl, but..hmm, hard to explain. I'm sure y'all see what I mean though

Personally, I like tom-boy girls more. But, I hate to stereotype it that way though. I honestly think it all depends on your impression on what a "girly-girl" and a "tom-boy" is. I'm considered sort of a tomboy because I enjoy playing wrestling/fighting/shooting games, House of the Dead, I skateboard and used to do Tae-Kwon-Do. I'm a bit aggressive when I need to be and I will seriously kick your ass if you get on my nerves.

On the girly side, I LOVE to go clothes shopping and I have 5 skirts, 2 dresses. I LOVE LOVE LOVE jewelry and you will be amazed at how much I can stash in one drawer. I've considered being a fashion designer and I can put together a pretty sweet outfit. I also have a mild interest in boys

im a girl, and what i have noticed about guys i have dated and talked to is that they like girls that are pretty, whether its pretty in a way like wearing skirts and tank tops and dresses or girls in jeans and a plain shirt... ive also notcied that guys feel a lot more comfertable with grils they can relate to in one way or another. so in a way i think its really good to have some "tom boy" in you.. like sports and stuff like that... really girly girls dont care to much about anything besides the way the look, who is really popular, and whats the newest thing in the mall... ive noticed guys really dont care to much about the mall haha
