yea at my school 2 years ago. (when i was grade 8) it was the best! i mean we had so much school spirit. and now after the older grades graduate (im grade 10 now) we're lacking in so much school spirit! and after this year. when this years grade 12s are gone, there will be NONE. and it just sucks. cause i love having school events and etc etc etc! (what can i say im a student councli nerd:tongue) but yea... im gonna run in 2 years.
like i just notice that like you know how our generation is kinda growing up with that "cool" thing and "do your own thing" and "be original and dont follow" people just basically dont care anymore . i mean they're nice people and i have a lot of friends like them, but show some damn school spirit!  like for spirit week, people dont dress up cause its not "cool" to. and people wont go to the dance unless other people go and its also considered not "cool" to go to a school dance. like wtf. sorry. had to get it off my chest |

i give it a 4-6 maybe. theyre mainly fair weather fans. theyll go to the games when theyre in the finals and stuff, but otherwise they dont really care. a lot of people join the school spirit club just to put on college apps (well, i almost did, at least). some people can at times, but really, not so much. people dont care, but theyll pretend they do when it counts

everyone at our school hates the school. :P it's quite pathetic. they throw pennies at our own cheerleaders (and that's why they have literally 4 people on the squad), and we have some really good baseball/softball pitchers. |

Well, school-wise.. about an 6.... the people i hang out with? like, some are like woot 10's.. and im like.. 0.. i mean.. our football won the first game since my freshman year (im a senior) this year.. im like. OMG

I would say about a 3 or 4. We do have some people with uber school spirit, but the rest simply just don't care. Maybe if we were a little better in sports, then maybe the school will have school spirit.

Haha. I honestly think we don't have any.
Nobody dresses up on school spirit days, and it was such a watse to declare spirit day, so we don't have those anymore. We have no sport teams anymore. Seriously. We used to have football, drill team, swim and basketball, but...it just dissappeared. As far as the dances go, people go just 'cause everyone else is. The Dance Committee is filled with the provacative popular seventh graders so, yea. I used to have school spirit when I was younger. Now I could care less. |

Well I don't go to public highschool anymore but when I did there wasn't much school spirit. At pep rallies there were barely anyone at them (small school), the rallies were boring as hell, we'd always lose football games and the cheerleaders sucked horribly. Couldn't even get a leg in the air, I would have owned the cheerleaders. :o

my school has an excessive amount of school spirit. It didnt really make sense, because we never won anything in football. Our team was like, worst in the district. I guess they were just rooting fo rthe awrd winning drill team and the award winning band. Yeah...the band I was in might I add. heh. Not toot my own horn....
Okay that was just bad But yeah we had great school spirit. It was crazy cool. Cuz pep rallies were always a lot of fun. But people only came to the fb games for the half time show cuz we were awesome. The band and the drill team. |

Eh...It's okay. There's so many fire codes we have to follow now because one year a teacher made popcorn and it caused the fire alarm to go out. [Yeah, obviously she needs to learn to cook w/ a microwave] And the firemen came in and saw our spirit week decorations...You could barely get through the hallway so they took the stuff down and they check out our decorations every year...It sucks.
Personally, I absolutely adore and love spirit week here. Since I moved from a small town, we never had spirit week until high school, but here you get it earlier. So it's mad fun. The dance, activities, lack of homework, everything. |

we have hella school spirit. the kids i hang out with are the "popular" kids and i guess im part of that, i dont know. i mingle with EVERYBODY!
but were all known as the O.MOBB [ochoa mobb] and we have really big great huge school spirit! |

we only have school spirit when we make it to football playoffs.. thats once every 5 years.. haha.
but im proud to say we have the highest pregnancy rates in the area, highest drug use AND the highest TAKS scores... lol. |
