Dude, are you kidding me. He should quit. LINKIN PARK is a band. not a rapping group. I consider mike shinoda a rapper. No wonder people started to hate lp. I like lp, but i just dont like mike shinoda. He turned lp into a whole rap thing. Not cuz of the collision course with jay. Himself. He's a rapper. He raps.

personally, i don't really like linkin park that much. rap-metal is kinda..well. it is bootleg. like, a collaboration of rap and rock/metal once in a while is okay. but come on. rap-metal? it's just kinda cheesy imo.
meh. everyone's got their own style. no need to be dissing each other saying how it sucks or anything. |

well, i think he's essential to the group, because linkin park is essentially a hybrid of rock and rap. i think he's very talented at what he does. in addition, he sometimes plays the guitar and samples new beats along with the DJ at times

Mike's BEEN in Linkin Park. So, he isn't "turning LP into a rap group." He's been there, so if it's a rap group, it's been a rap group. And so what, if they are a rap/rock group? It's called ORIGINALITY. Not every rock group has to be like every other rock group.

I kinda like Fort Minor, especially "Where'd You Go". I'm just not really into the whole "ghettoness" of it. I'm not that big of a fan of rap.
 He does add a certain "touch" to some of the Linkin Park songs. I wonder if Linkin Park is ever going to come out with a new album? Or are they gone forever? |
