Esta poesía te la escribo a ti
Veo las letras formando y siento
Estas emociones saltando en mi
Tiemblo en solo pensar en la imagen que pinto
Una imagen de hermana, amiga, o simple conocida.
Todas las imágenes que yo voluntariamente asumí
Pero sabes sin pensar yo sola me confundí.
Quisiera borrar todo y empezar de nuevo
Pero para eso es muy tarde, hay mucho por medio.
Entonces voy a ser sincera
No soy tu hermana,
Ni tu amiga,
Ni simplemente una conocida,
Pero lo que si soy
Sin otras lagrimas derramadas
Y palabras borradas
Es alguien que te ama
con toda su alma.


I write this poem to you
I see the letters forming and I feel
these emotions jumping in me
I shake in just thinking of the image I paint
An image of a sister, friend, or simple acquaintance.
I voluntarially assumed this images
but you know I confused myself
I wish I could erase everything and just start over
but it's too late for that, there is too much in between.
So I'm going to be honest,
I'm not your sister,
Nor you friend,
Nor simply an acquaintance,
but what I really am
without other tears shattered
or erased words
is someone that loves you
with their entire soul.


The poem losts it's rhyme when translated... but I guess it still sends the same message...

i like especialy when you wrote it in spanish.. i put more emotion when i read it heh=]

I wish I could have translated the rhyme scheme to english but it's hard. I really hope it didn't lose the emotion.
