*sigh* I didn't know my own sister could be so MEAN. (she's 9 btw)
This was after her soccer game: sis: OMG Hadas! Janet (4th grader) is almost as tall as you! Nick: (1st grader) but Haleli, you are taller than your sister and she's older than you! *Everyone looks at me.* I FELT SO EMARRASSED AND STUPID!  Maybe I' m just overreacting...Anyone else have this or somethign similar happen to them? Edit: I'm 13. |

yea, it sucks being 5'8... hey, hows the wheather up there, "gosh your so tall" is what i get as a first reaction. Besides no one ever really cares about how tall you are. Only you, and all you can do is bitch and moan about it and make yourself feel bad, or you could get over it.

i'm 5' and my doctor told me this is as tall as i'll ever be. i hate the physical disabilites of being short. (seriously why do cabniets have to be so high?) but trust me, most of my friends loveee how little i am and they wish they were too. and guys love being able to have a short girl to cuddle with
 play it off like your proud of being short...even if you're not. <3

being short isn't that bad. i wouldn't know though.. i'm 14 and currently at 5'5". (not that tall..) i wish i was taller though.. i think by the time i am finished growing i should be somewhere near 5'9".. hopefully?!
 well that's what my doctor told me at least. i was always so much taller than all the guys when i was younger & got teased about it constantly. now their all pretty much taller than me.. (well most) don't listen to your sister! and as im_s0_sp0ngey said-- it's whats on the inside that counts.

Aww, it's okay. Everyone is different, and you shouldn't be judged based on your height. Besides, you're still growing, so it's possible you can have growth spurts.

You'll grow. My older sister is 5'7.. and she was at this height when she was 16 while i was 12. She was so much taller than me and she kicked my ass all the time lol. Now i'm 16 and 6 foot and she's still 5'7 so she's a shrimp to me.. OHH it is so fun kicking her ass...(playfully, i dont beat women, espically my sis hehe) But i agree on guys liking shorter girls. I'm kinda a big guy, yet i like women around the height of 5'2 to 5'5.

tell you something, when i'm Form 1(grade 7), i'm juz 151 cam tall. but now, i'm in form 4 (grade 10), i'm 171cm tall!! i'm proud of it and i'm considered as the tallest one in my class/second tallin my grade. (though, when compare to western countries, 171 it's not that 'tall'. ) however, i think when you've got a fever, you will grow taller. this is wt i hv experienced. everytime i've got a fever, all ppl around me said i've become a bit taller. Just don't pay attention to them. My kid sister is almost as tall as I am, and she is four years younger than me. My brother doesn't have long to go before he is as tall as me, and he is eight years younger than me. I'm 18, and 4'11". Doesn't bother me anymore. I don't let it. Causes too much stress.

I'm pretty short too.. almost everyone in my skoo is TALLER than me.. they call me "Shortee Pants " lolz.. well.. it's kinda suckee..cuz you dnt get to stand at the bk of the line and talk with friends who are "Taller " than you.. tht stand at the bk..

i'm really short too and it does suck. when we take class pictures, we always stand in height order and i'm always at the very end.
T.T gets very depressing, even though i try to get taller!! i heard that a lot of exercise helps (not soccer though), tons of milk, and a lot of sleep. btw, i'm 4'10 // 4'11. |

I'm a good six inches taller than my mum, as tall as my older brother, a few inches short of my dad, and about a foot and a half taller than my little sister. So, yeah. I don't really have this problem, but height isn't everything. Don't let it get to you.

Well okay not really... But some say I look like a middle schooler. I'm 17.25 years old. They say this ONLY because I'm so short and it makes me looks like a child.  I wish I was taller T_T I'm 5 feet.. yea.. Bleh. I've only grown an inch since 8th grade (14 years old). Kinda sad, huh? :/ And it's worse because I have a long body and short legs so it's hard to find pants.  Haha ah well.. I can dream of becoming taller! :P
