my cuzin just got this new pink shirt that says "everyone loves a southern girl" and i asked her "you are actually proud to be southern?" and she said "well i don't have much of a choice" and i said "well i hate it. i am quite ashamed to be one." i have lived in florida my whole life and i hate it! all the stupid palms trees should die! and the beach can go w/ them. i hate being southern! i do not have an accent though thank god. are you proud to be southern if you are?

umm...okay...first off, I'm southern, and there are no palm trees where I live. I live in Texas. And second off, I have no accent. And third, I love being southern. I love the fect that walk around and see people of all races. theres a hell of a lot more racial tolerance in the south. I went to North Dakota for a month, and I swear I was the only not white person I saw the whole time. I mean, I went to the zoo and people stared at me likeI was one of the animals. I'm greateful that I wasnt born in some backwards all white nigger hating town...even tho I'm only have blakc they still look down on me. I love being in the south because there are black, hispanics, asians, whites, puarto ricans, hatians, indians...all different types of people. At least it is in Texas. I've been living in Las Vegas over half of my life. I can't say I love it very much, but I am not ashamed. It's interesting to see people's impressions of what people of Las Vegas are like. Sometimes, I hate how the people here are unfriendly.
