Soooooo, there's this really REALLY cute, adorable bunny. His name is Toby. A guy found him half dead and nursed him back. On June 30, 2005, he claims he will eat Toby unless he gets $50,000 in donations.

He currently has $20,000 already, and it's not going up only because his acct was suspended.

Mankind at its worst? Don't say he's making idle threats, cuz people are perfectly capable of befriending someone and them backstabbing them. Same thing with nursing a bunny back and then eating him.

How cruel, though. How utterly and morally cruel.

Just let him eat the rabbit...not to sound cruel or anything, but if this guy finds out he can earn 50,000 from an empty, online threat, he'll do it again. And again. And maybe again. There are tons of other rabbits out in the world; he can eat this one. Besides, I don't see people getting all worked up about eating chicken...so why the big deal about this one rabbit?


Either way, the man's a complete a-hole. ._. He should be convicted of animal cruelty and blackmail. ._.

I would personally never eat a rabbit, but I do know people who have. Rabbits are just like other types of food, only cute and fluffy. Giving this guy money is just like egging him on. and plus, how do we even know once he gets the 50k he won't just raise the price, or eat the thing anyway?

ugh, some people have no respect for animals and they're too sucked into the "material" world... we've been discussing this whole issue in english class for weeks now, and suprisingly it really isn't that dull- well back on track, people do cruel things to animals- DON'T watch this video if you don't have much of a stomach- it's really greusome; they skin animals alive. i quit watching the thing like halfway thru animal cruelty

i agree. not trying to sound like i like killing animals, but it might just be a threat and there really is no bunny to save.
