is it possible, to slow down your metabolism?

my friend told me that if yu sit down right after yu eat; yur metabolism will slow down. especially if you sleep right after eating. is that true?

I dont know but my freind told me that if you lay (gm?) down after you eat you get fatter. lol.

i highly doubt it, my boyfriend has a really really fast metabolism...within a few minutes after he drinks something he has to pee...

he sits at his computer playing poker (for real money, not for kicks), i've brought him all kinds of junk food to fatten him up and he never gains anything stubborn.gif

and plus, he's like a never ending hole, he can eat and eat and eat (which is what he does) yet he doesn't gain any significant weight

Most likely that is not true.
I guess it could be though, but it just doesn't....sound like it is.
