& having/buying a soda before lunch or after lunch

& homemade food cannot be brought to class for like a project or something, it has to be store brought (some new texas law)

yea my school is pretty good about lenancy. i love that part of it... you can dye your hair any color, get piercings, tattoos, etc.

I can't think of any lame rules. I mean supposedly we can't have cell phones but a lot of people use them during class and some teachers don't care. The PDA rule isn't really strict at my school but the people got tired of kids making out in this one building so now we can't go in there during lunch or before school. They lock it. It's not fair because my locker is in that bullding so in the morning it is locked and I can't get my books. By the time they open it I practically have to run to class.

1..no non-school sweaters, not even p.e sweatshirts, they have to be the issued sweaters..they're itchy and i dont like them very much.
2..on non-uniform days girls cant wear shirts with straps smaller than 3 fingers wide, even when we had this heat wave in june.
3..no leaving a study block without signed permission and if you're late for a class you get lunch detention.

The stupidest rule at my school is probably that you have to have parent/guardian call in to check you out or excuse an absence. You can't bring in a note, because it might be forged... even though people regularly call in for other people posing as their parents.

My school has a lot of odd rules, but none of them are ever kept.
The one that i dislike the most is that we have vending machines, however, they are turned off during lunch because it takes away from the cafeteria money, (But, everything is cheaper in the machines) yeah, its dumb.
