I need to see how many people actually dock their buddy list for AIM, so please:

DOCK or NO DOCK?

DOCKED the ENTIRE time you're on AIM?

or

DOCKED for a little while on AIM?

lol dock means to keep the buddylist fixed on the screen, and it wont hide if you click on another window. i like docking it because it gets annoying when you have to keep clicking on the window to see who is signing on or off biggrin.gif

That's why they have those popup things for AIM now to tell you who's signing off, signing on, going away, comes back from away, is idle, returns from being idle, etc. Mine is docked but I don't know why. I never put it to that "setting" or whatever it is. How do make it so it doesn't dock anymore?

Hell yea they're annoying. OMG I have those friends that sign on and off constantly.. More like they click the "eye" many times. Eugh and it covers my entire buddylist screen. I was okay with it at first, but when my friend who had deadaim signed on 3 sns and did that to me.. pinch.gif EUGH. haha so I removed it.

[font=Arial]how do you dock a buddylist? and what does the "visible" eye mean?!

when you close the eye it shows you`ve signed off on other people`s lists

no no no no no I dont. I find it extremely annoying. If a person IMs me, I'll just see something blinking at the bottom of the screen, instead of it being at the side of the page while I'm surfing the internet or something.
