she's so conservative.
she doesn't let me to:
1. pierce my ears (so i have 0 piercings now)
2. highlight/dying my hair
3. wear tampons (as seen in that topic)
4. buy some clothes even though i am running out of clothes now
5. bring my cell phone to school
6. wear makeup to school
7. wear low-cut socks
8. hang out in some computer gaming places
9. hang out after school in weekdays
10. shave
11. wear deodorant
12. use hairspray, gel
13. wear low-rise jeans and low-rise bikinis

she actually:
1. doesn't shave her underarms, etc.
2. buy pads and bras from 99 cent stores
3. wear the same shirt every single day.
4. and more that are undiscovered.

hmm...sorry i don't see what the point to this was...maybe just telling us about your mom? well some mom's are like that...just respect her....you'll regret it when you're older if you don't. trust me. i'm only 15 and i already regret a lot of stuff i've done....you can't turn back the hands in time...try to learn from other's mistakes.

Now that's just strange.

You need to sit her down and have a talk with her.
Some of those things are necessities.

Whoa, scary, you jsut discriped my mom...minus the tampons and cell phone part. She buys her underwear at winners sad.gif and shes doens't even wear bras...and she doesn't shave or anything and hardly every wears deoderant (only when she's doing sometihng athletic). But I mean she has a shower everyday so it's really not gross, she never smells.

and same, I'm tno allowed to get my ears peirced or dye my hair etc. the list goes on.

It was a struggle to get her to buy me bras and stuff too *shiver* I'm still struggling actually..

...and ya, no shaver no nothing...I bought my own a while back tho so I could shave my arm pits, so I don't really care about that anymore whistling.gif she sitll doens't know I ahve a shaver shifty.gif

and I dont' care what she thinks I'm getting my hair dyed this weekend with my freind at her house...I can't wait to see her face laugh.gif ....it's not like shes' that strict but she jsut thinks it's really pointless to dye my hair and doens't want the bathroom a mess biggrin.gif so ya...I'm okay with her, she's still my mommy and I love her for it rolleyes.gif

That's gross, how can you not use deodorant and i did not want to know she doesn't shave her underarms. She sounds like a hippie. stubborn.gif

my mom won't let me use tampons either. it frustrates me.

Just tell her times have change and your generation is different.

hmm... i'd understand the dying hair and makeup and shaving part... she wants you to stay "young" or w.e. my mom doesnt let me either (but i dont really feel like wearing makeup anyway...) i'm allowed to shave though.
i think you should talk with her. it's better to get better quality pads because cheap ones might be too thin or irritate your skin. talk with her into letting you buy at least cheap clothes. and maybe sort it out with your dad too

Hmm... so she wants you to be the smelly kid at school? you'd better tell her to take it easy, or you could wind up being a psycho from all the emotional scarring.

u kind of described my mom a lil bit _unsure.gif BUT, I can do these stuff:

1. pierce my ears (I got my ears pierced when i was young)
7. wear low-cut socks
13. wear low-rise jeans and low-rise bikinis

some parents r just like that for some reason, they just want u to be "protected" at all times rolleyes.gif my mom doesn't even want me to have a cellphone. She says there's already a phone at home, so wats the use for a cellphone stubborn.gif pssh. All my advice to u is to TALK to your mom
