Just do some sit-ups and crunches. I also think those large exercise balls are supposed to help, but I have no clue. Also you're 12. Chill out. I'm sure your body is just changing right now and everything will be fine and it will become less of a worry for you.

^ yeah, those balls are very useful. I have one. It will help your tummy. Running and swimming also help your body to tone up.

lose fat, build muscle
but muscel weighs more than fat...so you might not lose pounds, but you'll definitely lose inches
do whats mentioned above

i do crunches/sit ups. do about 25 to start out, then keep on doing sets of 25 until you're tired. when you've gotten used to it do more everytime, and then do less and less (about 10 less) and do about 3 sets. i usually do about 50/60 then 45 then 35. it works for me happy.gif
also, eat a healthy diet. but i wouldn't worry, you're only 12 (i'm 13... heh)

It's just a phase. Between the ages of like 10-12ish, I was huge. Ok, not huge, but huge for my body type. But when I got around 12 1/2-13, I got back to being thin-ish.
Of course, I didn't do anything about it, so just exercising and eating healthy will make a big difference.

im 12 too. lol. my stomack WAS huge! But now im in middle school and the PE helped me. Every Monday is running a mile under 9 minutes. Then Tuesdays we have to do crunches and lots of sit ups and pushups. then Wednesdays we would run a track and then play basketball. Then Thursdays we would do the same as Wednesdays. Then Friday we would run for 20 minutes around the field and you should get 4 or 5 or more to barely even pass, and trust me our field is HUGE!! lol.
Iguess this isnt helping but just excersise & i move everytime in class...like i would move my legs or feet my head etc. So basically im in motion all the time.
Yeah. Excersise. Now my stomach is not as huge.

just eat healthy and exercise lots. look up exercises meant for toning your tummy area if thats your main goal. plus when you do crunches, if you hold in your tummy muscles (instead of pushing them out or just forgetting about them) you wont get so much of a six-pack sticking out but more of a toned tummy. learned that in my ballet class happy.gif
