Ok, I'm editor for my school newspaper. Right now we're doing the prom section of the newspaper and we're at a dead end. Nobody can think of what to write and/or put in the newspaper that's not cliche', redundant, oversaid, obvious, etc. The only two stories we have are called:
1. Does this dress make me look BIG? 2. Tips for Prom from a female perspective (which is still trite and common) Our teacher has been urging us to think up something new and he says that he refuses to put anything else in that section unless its good. &I'm over it so my grade kinda depends on this. What I'm asking of the intelligent people at CB is to suggest interesting topics, features, or stories, things to draw, clipart, pictures, etc. etc. that we could put in the prom section of the newspaper to catch attention and make it extraordinary. Don't forget about the guys also. We literally have nothing catering to the guys. So ppl, can you plz help me out? Think back to your older high school newspapers, whatever. Please help me, I'm desperate.

Hm, cant think right now, but all I'm thinking is.. "the best place to go after the prom dance" heh. if i got more, i'll edit again next time.

Maybe a little history lesson to fill up space? A short blurb about the school's first prom could do. You could also touch on canidates for prom queen and king if you have that.

i expected you to have bad grammar because of the title of the topic
 random...facts about proms or something =p maybe tips for guys also, on how to treat a girl, and be a gentleman or something. maybe like..a section about protection. because everyone..like does it then..seriously. that would actually be good =/ |

wow this too creative for my mind to go near to. lol.
i like my sister's a lot. ways to ask a girl. but...its kind of not good cause when girls read that and guys use it. it wont be that sweet. lol. hmm... maybe past prom memories from years ago of your high school |

1. have a picture of a girl on the front.
2. do a poll of people, asking questions like what are you doing for prom, and yes/no questions and stuff. put the funny answers in the newspaper, people like to read that. 3. picture section. like one page is a collauge of pics. 4. comics. |
