Ever since the beginning of our school's second trimester, I've had a serious crush on a Freshman girl in my Concert Choir class. It took me until just a few days ago to finally come out to her with my feelings. Since I don't have much time to talk to her in the day, I gave her a note/letter explaining everything. Choir is the only class we have together and our teacher always keeps us busy in there, so it is REALLY hard to talk to her personally.
Anyway, after giving her the note yesterday, she didn't seem at all weirded out by me or anything, but today she didn't give me a note back or even make an attempt to talk to me, though we did make eye contact quite a few times in Choir. Can anyone tell me what this means? |

Writing notes shows that you are a chicken/coward......since the only class you guys have together is Choir....take advantage of that and talk to her....I don't caer if your shy...TALK TO HER....the worst that can happen is that she says she doesn't like you....not the end of the world

well it could mean that she likes you too or that she just wants to stay as friends
but you seriously should find time a talk to her, maybe before the class start. |

Take a chance and be the one who talks to her first. Maybe she has an explaination to why she didn't give you back a note?

She probably didn't know what to say or how to reply..
![]() Give her some time to reply and if she doesn't ask her about it. |

Go up to her...and just explain in words about the note and just be blunt about it....don't stutter. And even if you did tell her how you feel in the note....tell her again...

One of the bigger problems in the situation is that Choir also houses around a dozen of her friends and one particular preppy-guy who likes her too although mostly everyone thinks he is a jerk. Even if I make time to talk to her, getting her alone will be even harder. I do, on occassion see her at her locker in the early afterhours of school. She stays for Freshman Leadership, InterACT, Girl's basketball etc.

Most likely she's suprised and a little confused. Maybe a little flattered? If you two don't talk much or really know eachother well she may be thrown off. I mean if a guy I didn't really know just came out of nowhere and told me how much he likes me I'd be like, "Whhoah>>>"
I'd say give it a day or two more. If you don't hear anything by then, then it's over. You could also just go to her and ask her if she read it and what she thought, etc. Be straight forward and get an answer. |

We aren't on best knowing terms, but we talked quite a bit last trimester and spent some time together during Choir events such as concert or the district large group competition. Thanks for the advice....I've had crushes before this, but none of them compare. Most likely it is my first crush that doesn't involve teen horomones >.>

I asked her to wait after class to talk to me today and she said she would, but after class she disappeared. I'm guessing either she forgot (unlikely) or I'm really supposed to get the hint >.<

I still think you should confront her. Maybe she forgot, or maybe she didn't and was trying to hint to you something, but that's not right. You actually came right out and said that you wanted to meet her, and she should respect that and turn up for the meeting. So, go ahead and ask her out again. Who gives a darn about the hint? Tell her that if she really doesn't want to meet you then it's ok and say that you hope to remain as friends with her. Don't be forceful! She is probably being influenced by her friends or she could be confused over something...so don't add to her headache. Be gentle with her...stay calm and cool(but be serious)...and lastly...all the best! *wink*

I'm sixteen and I hope you're right.
I'll go ahead and be completely honest. She's a girl ranked rather highly in the social ladder. I'm somewhere in the middle, which is where I want to be. If her friends are influencing her....I hope that's not happening, because peer pressure always triumphs or so it seems. I REALLY want to go out with her and I think we're right for eachother. I just hope she looks more into what she feels instead of what her friends do... |

Well, I guess one of her friends told one of my friends that I should ask her if she just wants to be friends. I guess that answers my question....

i'm sorry, but i dont think its gonna happen. i mean, she probably thinks of you as just a friend. since you guys barely talk, maybe you should be just friends first before you take it a step further. so TALK TO HER. thats number one in accomplishing anything.

Well, everything has come to a close today. I talked to her myself and her exact words are still in my head.
"I want us to be friends. It's not that I don't like you. You're a cool guy, but I just don't....feel it." Not the end of the world, right? |
