Sequels for good movies often suck.

Imagine the sequel for a bad movie.

the sequel "the wedding" would be more like a totally different movie, because the book is just totally different. it's just that it's noah's son.

^ So basically, it's something I wouldn't call a sequel .. more like a cameo! Ha, okay yeah.

I read the book to that one "The Wedding" It was pretty good, really sweet. It was more of a story about their children tho, not really noah and allie. Allie was gone, and Noah was still living at the nursing home so it was kinda sad. I loved the Notebook, def made me cry. Made me think of me n' jeremy. ah...i love him so much.
But i don't think they should make the "sequel". I think they should re-make message in a bottle. lol

Hm, I haven't seen that movie. I thought they all die in the end... there's going to be a sequel when they are all dead?

I haven't seen the movie but from what I know no one dies in the end.... where did you hear that? It's like a romance or something.

Hmm, well I haven't seen "The Notebook". But yeah, the majority of sequels usually do turn out bad. =\ And books are usually better than the movies. However, it may turn out to be one of the more successful sequels. =]

Technically, they never actually showed Allie and Noah being dead. They were just lying in bed together. But Nicholas Sparks was asked(about The Wedding) "Why do you call it a 'follow-up' instead of a sequel to The Notebook?" and replied, "Technically, it isn’t a sequel. A sequel would have followed the lives of Noah and Allie after the conclusion of The Notebook. Instead, I wrote about the next generation." The Wedding FAQ

I must admit, the notebook was a pretty good movie. I never wanted to see it but my girlfriend talked me into it and i liked it. Sadly enough she's made me watch it like 40 times haha.

The Notebook was a great movie, I really liked it! If they're going to make a sequel for "The Wedding" it will probably be an entirely different movie though.

I didn't see the movie however, I read the book (I've heard the book is supposedly better than the movie - that doesn't say much) and quite honestly, I didn't like it.
I'm in the process of reading The Wedding and again, I'm not liking it.

You mean on Notebook? Yeah someone does die. In the end. Didn't you see he was lying down next to her? And the nurse came in and check up on him? He's the one who died. Cause he had a heart attack.

Anyways, I saw that movie yesterday. It gived me the chills and I cried a little. It just reminded me of someone so that's why I cried.

By the way what do you mean by a sequel? Like the notebook is going to have a sequel or the the movie wedding day? >.<;;; got confused on that part. so you mean like the notebook will have a sequel on the wedding part cause it didnt come out on the notebook movie?

They CANT make a sequel. At the end of the Notebook He died with her. In the wedding, he is still alive. Major issue there though.

It did make me cry though. cry.gif Bawling more like it.

The best movie ever. They shouldn't make a sequel to it, it ended just right. If they added a sequel, it'd just mess up the entire idea of the whole story. And... how could they, seeing as the movie ended as it did? mellow.gif

A sequel would ruin that whole movie, it was perfect just the way it was. I hope they don't make another one because it would be a HUGE mistake.

I love that movie too. Ive seen it alot! I love it and I also cry every time. Its the cutest movie ever. BUT. I dont think they will make a sequel. Its one of those movies they cant make sequels. To me. I think if they make a sequel, it would seem awkward cuz they died. I dunno. Maybe they will. But I doubt it. _smile.gif
