I was wondering how many out there has diabetes... really want to know.
I want to see how big this disease is impacting our life, so yeah heh.

Anyways, I don't think I have it. If do, that would be so terrible, wouldn't it? >.<; I have eaten lots of junk foods and foods that have lots of sugars in it.. not so good you know? i eat less vegetables too.. and my sister...omg she barely eats vegetables. she probably will get diabetes someday.. heh well i scared her a little bit. i told her "if you dont eat vegetables. it's going to be pretty bad for your pregnancy..your baby probably get diabetes from you." i guess my sister got scared from that, so she said that she eat vegetables... hmm i hope she really is gona eat vegetable someday...

Sorry, I'm going to make this as a poll. I don't need comments. I want to see how many.

Wow, I'm the only one who's marked "yes". laugh.gif

I have diabetes. I have ever since I was ten, but I'm type one, not type two. Which is what most people are getting diagnosed with nowadays. They don't know the reason for my diagnosis, and it doesn't run in my family. It was actually pretty weird. ermm.gif

My grandpa had it.. He died at age 60-something, before I was born.
I really hope I don't get it.. sad.gif

Luckily I don't. I've know a couple of people who have it though, including my great-uncle.

note: you should have made one that said like, it runs in my family, or soemthing..

And, no I don't have it but it runs in my family. My dad's 2 brothers have it and so did my grandpa. Thank god my dad doesn't.. or at least he doesn't know about it...

I'm not fat or anything, I hardly ever eat sweets too. Usually if I eat more than like 1 cookie I get sick pinch.gif

so in other words I doubt I would have it, but it does seem to run down in to the family. Almost everyone on my mothers side of the family has it. And my grandpa has it on my dads. Me and my dad shake a lot though, probably because we don't eat like were supposed to, which could bring up the chances of us getting it..

-shrugs- If something was wrong with me, It would be worse than that I'm sure.

I wonder if people even know that there are three types of diabetes. ermm.gif

Seems like everyone who has mentioned having it in their family and whatnot is referring to type two.
