Okay, so I did a search and no Saosin topic came up. If by any chance I missed one, feel free to close this. happy.gif

Alrightey. I've been listening to them pretty recently, and I have to say that I'm very impressed. They're really, really addicting and the guitars are just.... ecstatic. The guy's voice is really starting to grow on me. I think I'm starting to get a little something for them. tongue.gif Any other fans in here?

If you haven't heard, one of their songs is playing on my Myspace.

Gee golly wiz, they're pretty..... *Gigglesnort* wub.gif dribble.gif

uhm, okay.
those picture you posted is old.
their old singer (middle in the pic) quit over a year ago.

but yes, they are absolutely amazing.
perhaps you should give their domain name as well, for those who want information on them.

http://saosin.com
http://saosin.com/forums
http://saosinfans.com
http://purevolume.com/saosin

By the way, the songs available via myspace or purevolume are of their new singer.

Any songs found on their Translating the Name EP are of their old singer. Though their new singer and old one sound quite alike, but there's a slight difference. Anthony (their old singer) likes to randomly scream alot more so then Cove, their new singer. Good stuff.

if you need any live mp3s/videos/ep mp3s get ahold of me.
i've got everything saosin.

recommended songs
- seven years
- i can tell (there was an accident earlier)
- bury your head (with cove)

Also, they just signed to Capitol; they released that news yesterday. I think it's amazing.

Anyway, bobbster, for some reason I prefer saying "sao-sin," because if you refer them verbally to someone, they're not going to remember you saying "now remember it's saosin, pronounced like say ocean, but not spelled that way!" That and I always got into the habit of calling them that before I actually knew the real pronunciation.

eegads, i remember the thread on the saosin forum like two years ago on it. :X

Eh, Anthony is a great vocalist, but screw him, seriously. He has no dedication whatsoever. I mean, he's been in a few bands, and in such a short period of time. Him leaving Saosin at their climax, pissed me off beyond belief. He really f'd them over hardcore.

i was just gonna make a Saosin topic till i searched :x

their CD was released on Tuesday and i'd been planning on getting it... i love this album so much. it's great.
i like Cove's voice a lot, too.
i agree that Anthony Green shouldn't have left but i still LOVE him so, so, so much. well, i love his voice; and i love Circa Survive, but Saosin has to be my favorite band.

good songs:
-Seven Years
-It's Far Better To Learn
-Follow And Feel
-Come Close
