Placing blog on image...problems, help

Ok i tried all the tutorials on here for making a xanga layout, but im having problems with my image, its image mapped so i dont know if thats the problem but i cant get the blog on top of the image...

Here is what i mean >>>

Could someone please tell me what im doing wrong?

you would have to use div layers in order to do that. go here for div tutorials if you need more info.

put the imagemap code first, then put the div codes and other css/html.

edit the margin-top and margin-left with numbers. play around with it a little. you can also use negative numbers. also edit the width and height if you want.
