Ok, i know i already posted a topic, but this freaked me out. 2 things

first, my friend showed me her right wrist and there's this huge bump on the side of her wrist that's under her thumb.

guess what.....

she got it from using the computer too much. it's a cyst she has to get removed, and it hurts! she's a graphic designer, and uses the computer up to 10 hours a day. crazy!!!! guys, be careful!!!!

oh, my boyfriend told me that if you cut a snakes head off it will still live. he said he read it in Old Yeller, or one of those dog books. i thought that was only cockroaches and chickens blink.gif

Ah, kinda scary. I type a lot, too.. and I'm on the computer like a lot. Sometimes it's close to 10 hours.. sometimes it is 10 hours. There's never a day when I'm not on the computer unless I'm out somewheres and is forced to not be on it!

that's true, but only if your hands aren't positioned right. you can get those squishy things anywhere to place your wrists on.

and ten hours is pretty crazy, even for a graphic designer blink.gif
yeah, but i guess it makes us be careful.

and eew. yes, i read old yeller in the third grade...but i dont remember anything about snakes. thats really scary/gross.

I heard that cysts do hurt. People that use the computer too much are liable to get cysts on their hands, because the hands start get sore if you don't let them rest some.

This is why people make up all these silly postures and rules while using your computer for extended amounts of time.

Yeah.
I have that too.
I don't really care about it.
The doctors didn't even care, didn't say it was that bad.
