Okay heres my story... My fiance had been deployed and will be gone for almost 2 years over seas cry.gif , and i have so much pride being with him and him being a soldier, also i am in the army, so as you can imagine i have this huge pride for the army and our troops, i support them all the way. tongue.gif

Well I drive my fiancee's old car and i had gotten 6 of the support your troops thingies and stuck them on the car, each and every one of them was different it took me almost a month to find that many different ones i had them all placed in a certain way. I was only missing a few more, but i had almost all of them and i was very very very proud to have them on my car.

Well i got out of work to notice that they were all GONE, STOLEN! ohmy.gif Who steals that kind of thing. I am just outraged, im not sure why it seems so bad to me but it does... So i want to post a little note in my window to this pride taking thief... Whats your opinion on this whole matter do i have the right to be outraged? What should i leave on the note in my window.....

^^hehe tongue.gif

i'm sorry but as much as you support the war and our troops...many other people don't...that was a pretty sh*tty thing to do but i guess that's how people are expressing themselves

after all, did you hear the story about those elementary school kids who sent letters to some soldier about how horrible they think the war is, that it is wrong, the soldier himself probably couldn't name an iraqi terrorist, and etc?

That doesn't tell much about your pride then.
Hey, it's life, people cheat and steal. Don't let this kind of stuff discourage you.

I don't really think that a note or letter will do much, but I'm proud of you, it takes courage to be a soldier, whether on the field or not

awwww, thats sad cry.gif

Well maybe the bumper stickers flew off while you were driving? mellow.gif

Anyway, a note won't do much unless the person returns to the scene of the crime! ph34r.gif
But a note won't hurt, so you should try it.

^They aren't bumper stickers. They are magnetic. At least the one I had was. And mine got stolen too. I was pissed off because I finally got a support our troops ribbon for my car and then someone had to go and jack it. I mean c'mon, buy your own. Mine was like a dollar, so if you support our troops so much then instead of stealing someone else's, why not just go spend a buck on one for yourself. Gosh, some people these days...

they dont blow off not all at once, i have had them on there for a while and they never blew off.... i think the scene of the crime was my school parking lot, so if i put a note it would get back to that person, hell last week some one stole my gas cap and half a tank of gas from me!!! People at my school are horrible... im not sure thats where it happened tho, just my assumption....

it is shameful! And low! Well i found the scene of the crime.... ive cooled down a little bit about this but i do want to hunt this person down and show them what i learned in the army boxing.gif
im still going to put a few letters on my window.... Why do ppl have to take this like that, just because you dont support the war doesnt mean you cant support our troops, Also if you dont support any of it, it doesnt mean you have to steal other ppls thing showing they support them.... I can rep[lace them, but some of them my fiance had bought together, and i can replace that, we had bought them in his last few days here cry.gif I know a lot of ppl dont care... but this whole thing really upset me...

that repulses me. i may not support the war in iraq, but i hope that all those concerned can come back safe to their families. i mean i suppose its fair to say they may not have recognized your personal connection, but still ot an excuse

im sorry. i hope your man is home soon.... write him everyday, and wish him well from all of CB

Personally i support the war, I hate hippies plain and simple. It's disheartening to see that someone stole something of yours even if its just some bumper stickers. When I'm old enough (in 2 years), ima join up in the Marine corp and kick ass.

It happened at my school parking lot, i figured that out today because on of my friends herd me talking about it and said someone had stuck one on the hood of her car, so whoever it was took them and just put them everywhere, so now i only have the one my friend found on her car...

[B]this doesnt neccesarliy only pertain to my loss, but just because you dont support the war doesnt mean you have to ruin every one elses support, so why take the "support our troops" thingies?(i dont know what to call them, thier not bumber stickers hmmmm) some people are very proud to support our troops, and i know im not the only one who had more than one "support our troops" thingies on my vehicle because ive seen other people with more than i had... And it just almost hurts when someone takes them from you, obviously some people could give a shit less.... But some ppl do care!!!!.....yea sorry i dont know where i was going with that... yea....

Im sorry something like that happened.

Not sure why some people are so evil.

Men and women in our military are fighting a war. Everyday, someone is being killed overseas and with families and friends suffering from not being able to see their family member.

After reading what you wrote, I feel like I should go out their and find out why these people are doing these kinds of things.

Or maybe make some ribbons that note those "bring them home" messages and replace them with the ones they stole?

That is a brilliant idea.

that repulses me. i may not support the war in iraq, but i hope that all those concerned can come back safe to their families. i mean i suppose its fair to say they may not have recognized your personal connection, but still ot an excuse

i whole-heartedly agree. it is a dispicable act. i'll keep an eye out for some "support our troops" stickers and i'll contact you if i find them and send them to you.
