Alright, so I've got this script and I put in all the links to the songs. But the problem is that, I am hosting the songs on a free webserver and It has limited bandwidth, so the songs just quit playing. What I'm asking for is a site that has lots of songs and artists with links so I can put it in my xanga.

myfilestash.com can't work, because it only has 25mb and I need 30mb. And it said I can't upload mp3s. And none of those bajillion worked. I'm looking for some fairly unknown songs. If anyone has a site with the following:
Yesterdays Rising- Our Lucid Dream
Trust Company- Drop to Zero
Slipknot- Eyeless
As I lay dieing- 94 Hours
Cradle of Filth- From the Cradle to Enslave
From Autumn to Ashes- Reflections
A7X- Unholy Confessions
Dimmu Borgir- Progenies of the Great Apocolypse
Lamb of God- Laid to rest

If you know a free filehosting site with a LOT of bandwidth and 25+ upload max, then please tell me, that will work too.

if you cut those songs down in size to about 1 to 2 mb by converting it to wma format you can store them on angelfire.com. it's free, they allow wma music files and give unlimited bandwidth.

Alright, I tried converting them from mp3->wav, but now the files are 20+ megs each! That's crazy because all of them in mp3 is just under 60mb

not into a wav. into wma! or if you still want mp3's i have this converter that changes them into lame mp3's that are 2 or 3 MB. how did you get 20megs each?! that's...impossible...sort of. it just doesn't make sense.

what? you're serious? what software are you using?

change from mp3 into wma directly. they should take up a LOT less space.

yes, you'll have to make it really low. try a little less than half. the quality shouldn't be that bad too.

btw, please don't double post. use the edit button at the top of your post. thanks. _smile.gif

Yea, I just lowered the bitrate and changing from mp3 to wma. It's 19.7 now! Score! Thanks for all your help. I'll try hosting on angelfire and see if that doesn't work.

they would take FOREVER to load if they're 19.7MB each. it should be at most 6 in order to put it in xanga and still have people listen to them!!

Download and install dbPowerAMP. This program is the swiss army knife of audio utilities. It can convert your music files to a bunch of different formats and has tons of cool features.

Use it to change your mp3s into WMAs (much better quality and smaller file sizes) and to make files even smaller use VBR (variable bit rate). Set the quality to like like 15 or 10. The sound quality is actually still very good and the files are less than 2 Mb.

Please don't have bit rates of like 64 Kb/s or less... it sounds so horrible... Use VBR to get small files.
