I chose the last one, but I mean, I don't really cry about it anymore, I'm kind of over it....a little
 god it's so horrible, and all my friends with nice hair don't even care...like if they said "omg, I'm so sorry for you, but I'll like you no matter what your hair is, remember that" you know, that'd be something...but instead they're all like "hmm...what'd you say? ya ya…oh poor you...yes..."  maybe I'm over emotional, but the fact is that when I have my hair straightened I'm cute and beautiful, which I'm immensely grateful for...but with my natural hair I'm leaning on the side of kind of okay looking to ugly.  it's horrible...if it's raining my hair goes all frizzy, and it takes half an hour to do a reasonable job on my hair  and even then it doesn’t look as good as natural straight hair......just wondering if you have the same or close to the same problem as me than maybe you have some advice? Like who here has tried Japanese straightening? Did it work out? Or maybe you wear wigs? Are they really all that uncomfortable? ...just wanted some advice or…comfort? lol.  Stupid hair  EDIT// haha, what the heck, lets add an oppressive picture to this already, very oppressive story   That's my hair --^ (at it's worst) Tell you the truth I don't mind my hair so much at all now. I just stick it in a pony tail and we're all happy. But you know I can dry it in a low pony tail and it actually looks alright out, although it’s true it gets a little frizzy if I wear it out for more than like 2 hours. Still, it isn’t that bad compared to some ppl...although I must admit I'd still give anything to have nice straight Asian hair

my hair is alright, most of the times, since i always use straightners, curling irons, and blow dryers on it ALL the time i constantly get split ends, which means i need to trim it every so often.

im alwayz bleaching mai hair n highlighting it..i highlighted it 2 times n i bleached it once but i dyed mai hair 3 times...
well mai origianl hair is curly reallly curly like a witch but i get a straight purmn and it takes 4-6 hours for otha pplesbut since mai real hair is so CURLY it takes me 8-10 hours...AHHH |

i really really adore my hair. its really silky and blackish/brown highlites. maybe you should go to the salon and get it permanete straighten. it might help . i think the best for you is not to use much of those straightner because it might damage your hair. and the worst thing that damages it is the hair blow dryer . so try not to use those as much as possible and look forward to the results.

my hair sucks, but thats because I'm soooo lazy. Cuz its naturally cury, and I hate it curly cuz I look like someone outta the 60s or somethin with my fro. So for me to be happy it has to be stright but its soooo humid in dallas that I'd have to straighten it 3 times a day just to keep it looking nice, and thats only if I dont go outside. And I'm too broke to dye it so my roots are all grown out. Oh well. The fact that I rarely even change outta my pj's everyday says enough that I dont need to worry about my hair right now.

My hair is alright. I love it being really long, but the length makes it really hard to keep from being super-frizzy (it is down to my tailbone). My bf loves it though, and I can't imagine having my hair different after so long, so I'll leave it like it is. Can't ever do anything with it though, because of the length.

I like my hair now but it culd be a bit longer i f**ked up my hair hardcore i permed it 2 times which is a really strong solution and before that i bleached it like 5 times ive been dying my hair for 7 years so ya!!n then i permed it ..it was ok the first time but the second My hair started falling out so i cut it so short like the spikey look n it sucked cause my hair was near my a$$ its been 2 years n its only up to my colar bone it hasnt grown much!! it can be nice sumtimes but i screwed it up by ironing it it looks awsum ironed but FUCKS up ur hair ur hair goes all dead n feels like u just got gum outta it so dont iron lol!!!

Sorry i forgot to add i just got the VO5 hot treatment oil which brings your hair back to life and help its so its awsum its supost to help your dead ends anf frizz etc...My hair is now brown with blonde highlights

well i just got a hair cut over my spring break. i mean i hate getting hair cuts, but you gotta do what you gotta do. i'm planning on growing my hair way longer (maybe an inch below my boobs). all my friends say my hair is "silky and pretty" i don't really see what they mean..lol. but i think it's fine. i voted for the 2nd one. =)

well my hair is very odd. my moms has curly hair and my dad has staraight hair. so im stuck with this odd looking wavy curly staraight thing. but when i straighten it fully, it looks really nice. i also love my hair color... BLONDE! but its sad because all of my friends are asian and they have naturally straight hair >.<

my hair can be real unfair to me at times, like everybody else's. however, it's naturally straight and a pretty nice shade of brown, so i think it's all right

My hair's alright- sometimes it can be a pain, because it's so long, but I don't hate it. The only thing I don't like about it is how it can get tangled and gets annoying, and I wish it were a bit wavy.
A lot of my friends really like my hair. |

Yes I like my hair. Sure there are times when it's tough to do anything with it and I just want to pull it out, but for the majority of the time I like it. It's soft, shiny, smooth, flat, thick...etc. Nothing really wrong with it.

I like my hair.
But I don't like the fact that it's always so tangled! My dream hair is a sorta mix of curly/wavy . I would love, love, love my hair then! But I love the way my hair looks now. I picked the first choice.

Yes. My hair isn't all that great, but I don't mind it,
I'm not vain about my hair. I wish I had better hair. But then I realized that there are people out there who either don't have hair at all, or have worse hair than me (i.e. damaged) And yea. My hair is thick and heavy.

i've learned to like my hair actually. it's frizzy yes and not stright nor curly. it's like frized waves. but i can get it to curl with the right products and i can straighten it. i have friends with gorgeous curly hair but it takes them like 45 minutes to straighten it. and then i have friends with perfectly natural straight hair but it won't curl, period. so yeah by hair type isn't perfect but it's got it's advantages.

haha i personally think my hair is boring cause its black, straight, and not layered. just plain boring. but then there are my friends who have deid their hair every single color you can dye it and they've curled, straighten, w.e. crap with it and they say that they want hair like mine... (cause they are goth and they want straight black hair) iuno whats so interesting in my hair.

I like my hair, i would like it abit straighter though. Mine is long, wavy and the colour is nice, i have been told by my hairdressers never to dye my hair and to stop straightening it lol

i just cut my hair recently. i was SO angry with how it turned out. [ it was the style that was "in" .. you know the long-ish bangs ] and after the hair cut. i thought it looked HORRIBLE on me.. but now i think it looks okay. i voted for choice #2 :satisfied: <--- this smilie has no hair.

i love my hair. theres so much to do with it.. it's naturally wavy/curley so i can wear it down just like that.. straighten it.. or put it up. and its long & i have side bangs so i love it & wouldn't change it for anything!

wow, the topic came back, awesome.
anyway, jsut like to say I like my hair alot better now. well, I still hate it but w/e it's loonger os I can put it in braids easy and it looks really good. I jstu cna't waer it out. which is kinda a pain but oh well, you cna't have everything. this topic has mroe replies than any of my others. aperently hair isa good subject
