I know that most of you are probably thinking of or have ever thought of college at one point or another in your lives, so which college do you want to or plan on or are currently attending?

Well right now I go to a gay in the ass community college. I hate it here with a passion and want to get out ASAP. After that though I am going to transfer my credits over to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) in NYC. I want to major in graphics design, I want to go there so bad it is my dream. happy.gif

Northwestern (NU) or Ann-Arbor (UMich). Haven't decided, but both are pretty much the same, just one's (UMich) 5 hours away from my house.

Why'd you bump this, Michelle?

I go to UGA, but I know that a lot of preppy white kids from the private school across the street from my high school are headed to SMU.

I go to GA State Univeristy but I'll be transferring to finish at UGA, Kennesaw State, Valdosta State, or The State Univeristy of West GA in August...I've already received my acceptance letters. I just have to pick one already (I keep changing my mind).

That's good. I wouldn't recommend West Georgia either. I'm ambivalent on Kennesaw. UGA sucks in a lot of ways, but it's the best academically.

I think UGA's the best also, Kennesaw was my 2nd choice; I really want to attend school out of state in Virginia or North Carolina, but I'm just gonna do that for grad school because I don't want to be pushed back because of everyone's different requirements.

Expect that to be really weird when you get to school. Maybe it'll be different where people don't go to school with a bunch of their high school friends, but here a lot of us have found that we have all these arbitrary facebook friends from over the summer we don't actually know, and it's kind of awkward when you see each other on campus, or actually meet each other, then find out you were already facebook friends....I've had numerous weird situations, so just be prepared _smile.gif

In the U.S. the better the education offered, the more expensive it is for that education =\

Cambridge is a great school.

That isn't true. There are some public schools that are better than private schools, but they're still going to cost less. And Cambridge isn't in the US.

I agree...UGA for example is a great school education wise & has a good rep but it's not expensive...like how some people go to Emory for school & they pay close to 50,000 a yr when they could attend a state school & it'll be 50,000 for their whole college career...to me it's kinda stupid to pay an arm and a leg for practically the same education you could get from a State school, but to each his own...I guess it's similar to clothes, people will spend hundreds of dollars for an outfit when they can get the same outfit that doesn't have someone elses name all over it, made with the same material as the designer's label & will be visibly worn within the same length of time as the designer's label just for the name, not quality.

Resident students are 51000 something a year. It's pretty expensive, but I got a lot of money and if you really need it, I'm sure they'll give.

If you visit next year, contact me and I'll tell you all about it!
