am i selfish? my boyfriend has to do a band festival this year on my boyfriend. this is the first ever birthday that he would have been with me.. here ill show you the coverstation just a while ago.

i cried. my past has been really dificult for me.. i've never really had a good birthday. something always goes wrong, and everyone always has something to do, even my parents and sister. sometimes they dont even remember. ryan knows all about my past. i really wanted himthere for me.. and im angry with him for not being there with me, i cried.

am i selfish for being angry with him?

No, you're not being selfish. What you should do is go watch him at his band festival. It would make him happy and I think that you being there for him would make you happy too. If you can't or don't want to do that, then just plan your day with him another day. It doesn't specifically have to be on your birthday, right?

how bout asking him if he can do somethin with you after the festival thing? or even go with him to it to watch him, atleast ull be spending time with him =) n bring ur friends so ur not alone whilst watchin him n u can have a good time =D then do sth alone with him after the whole festival thing.. cuz im sure u want some alone time with him on ur bday! =)

hey y'all thanks so much for the advice. we've decided the day before the day after and my birthday we're going to spend together. teh day before we're just going to spend at my house goofing around and having fun, then the day of my birthday he said hes going to give me a wake up call at only god knows what time and hes taking me and my friend sierra with him since her boyfriend will also be performing. the day after.... well i dont know, he said it was a surprise. hehehe i love him so much. you all are right, hes a keeper!

Anywho, it's human nature to be like that. I know that if my boyfriend missed my birthday I would be real sad. Just reschedule it like before or after your birthday or you can even go to his band festival thing and spend time with him there. I know it's not the best thing to do on your birthday, but it's better than spending it alone.
