So I was sitting in study hall. Zoned out. Reading my book. Totally absorbed. Thennnn... the bell rings and scares the crap outa me. I wake up but my foot doesn't. That stupid foot was totally asleep and when I got up it took a 190. so then I had to go to the nurse for ice. She made me call my mom and go the the ER cause it was so swollen. I was forced to leave the school in awheel chair. I was at the ER forever. They x-rayed me. At least my ankle wasn't broken. Oh yeah, and my growth plates are still open. (One good thing I learned)

Have any of you hurt yourself in such a stupid way? Spraining your ankle from standing up may be hard to beat.......

they escort u in a wheelchair so u don't hurt urself further. otherwise, u can sue their ass for money. i broke my foot in freshman year playing soccer. then i sprained it in sophmore year playing basketball. when i sprained it, the gym teacher wrapped my foot in like, wet paper towels and then ice, and then an ace bandage (sp?). so whatever. two weeks to heal or so, meh.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! When i was 12 i was playing in the woods and i got up on a tree about a foot and a half off the ground and i jumped off of it and broke the grothn plate in my ankle i hurt like a bitch. HOw stupid my bro told me to to tell ppl i feel so it would't sound as bad

Hahha the time where I was sleeping and somehow I got hurt.. I STILL don't know how and the pain in my toes is STILL here, even though it's been 2 weeks!

And also, when I was walking and i stubbed my toe on the couch leg thingy.. way at the bottom.. I don't even know how it happened!

Other stupid times where I got hurt was when I tripped over a trashcan and another time I was walking down a tiny tiny hill and I tripped on my sandals and yea there was this big grass mark on my capris where my knee was...

I'm really clumsy. I trip over things at least once a day.

-first, track and field doing hurdles....my friend wanted me to do the hardest one, and ont he last hurdle...my foot didnt make it over.

lol same here! especially when im on the place where im sitting for more than 2 hours.. i felt like i broke my elbows >.<;;; but no, it didnt...but i went to check it because once i told my mom..she was all worried and took me to the hospital and she started to cry like im gona die...it was very embarrassing for me. the doctors were like laughing little bit cause my mom was crying over nothing. it was just a little sprained... this happened like when i was in 5th grade hehe. I thought it was kinda stupid for me because when I felt like I broke my elbow... 1- i was playing basketball and twisted it on a lay-up

2- i was tumbling and twisted it on my roundoff

Oh, but you can. You can trip over a stair while going up and fall forward, falling up the stairs. I've done it several times, the worst being when I was sneaking off the stage at church with the rest of our orchestra and fell. XD

My ankle twisted and I heard a crack.
