Yeah, she performed 3 songs. They were nicely done, and her outfit for each one was nice too.

I watched them, all 3, and despised the performances. She had WAY too much jewellery on, and the singing was, well, Beyonce's singing, to say the least. In general, Beyonce just tries too hard, so I wasn't a big fan of her in the first place.

Liked the dresses, though. =]

i think shes a great singer and everything, but they should have had other people perform. It could give off the impression that the people who pick out who performs likes Beyonce way better and that shes better than the rest. Or it could be that no one wanted to perform. mellow.gif

I personally thought she did phenomenal. I dont think she tries to hard. Ashlee simpson tries to hard. THats why her voice never sounds good cuz shes always trying to sound respy. But beyonce..naw, she always sings like that. Just a whole hella lot of raw talent. I do agree on the too much jewelery tho on the second dress. It was sort of distracting, but the dresses...all of em, I thot were just beautiful. I did think it was a little weird that she sang at the oscars..I know they do that a lot for a different interpretation...but I guess three songs was a bit weird. Especially since the last one, the guy who sang it was there...but hey, I aint complainin. I just dont get why people dont like her. Shes the best singer out right now. Shes much more refreshing than hilary duff or something....

i liked her singing in "learn to be lonely" but i didn't like her singing in the french song cause you can't really understand her and its easy to see she was having trouble singin in french

I thought she did a pretty good job. But when she sang "Learn to be lonely" from Phantom of THe opera and had emma rossum introduce her, i was like, "no no no nono" lol i thought emma should of atleast sang that song. But beyonce did an ok job. I really liked the song that she sang with josh groban...and when she sang that one song in french i was pretty impressed. The same when Antonio Banderas sang that one song, he has a pretty great voice.

MarchHare...yah i was suprised Eternal Sunshine didn't get a nom for best picture, but be happy because it won an oscar for best script or somethan.
