that was pathetic... the year is just a freaking number, no number (thats probably wrong anyway) would make me worried. The world is full of idiots....

but what about the next new years eve!? OMG!!! A NEW CENTURY AHHHHHH.

yeah, and thing problem with the computers was that since the common date of "99" would go to "00" it might screw up businesses and bank and such because the computer thinks it suddenly went backward 99 years. anyway, i'm not really sure, but thats part of it.

haha my family did the same thing. SO from then on we didnt have to buy any canned food for over a year!! It was rediculous. We had a whole cabinet in the house full of non perishables, and then a whole shelf outside!! I just remember singing *and we're gonna party like its 1999* and falling asleep at around 10:30. I figured, if the world was gonna come to an end, I would wanna be asleep when I died. :D

Yes, I remember the year 2000. I took my very first Holy Communion. Also, I remember buying those stamps that marked "Y2K" on it along with twenty-six fragrant pens back in the Philippines. But that year is very scary, because someone predicted that the end of the world is coming. mellow.gif

I was only 10. I so wanted something REALLY cool to happen. But I wasn't really thinking about the consequences if something were to happen. Anyway, my dad was worried about our computer (hah, it still works.. 8 years old.. gahhh), and my mom completely packed our kitchen.
