the only 2 democratic advisors to president bush have left/are leaving the office. is this a turn for the worse, or the better? will democratic views still be considered? if not, will it really cause that much conflict? how much will the views and laws made differ?

i think that if all the advisors to president bush are republican, than i think that all democratic views will be discounted and they will probably just go with republic choices. it might noe be that much of a bad thing for republicans but as for democrats, they will probably hate it.

the republicans control every branch of gov...
the only thing the dems have is filibuster power in the senate. when everyone is a yes-man, things go bad. |

QUOTE(Kathleen @ Feb 26 2005, 3:44 PM) one just didn't like being there i guess, and one was only recruited for one thing and is leaving after he finishes (helping with bush's education plan). i don't think either of them like being surrounded by people they don't agree with. |

i guess it could be good if they do a good job of placing replacements. i suppose that since we still have the same president for the next 4 years, it may make some people happy to see some changes
of course, i know practically nothing about this... |

It is tradition that in that a new president in wartime appoints a bi-partisan cabinet, becuase the country is more important than partisan politics. this way, the president gets more moderation and opposing views...
and bush has done this... Harding is historically called the worst president. Bush is a clear contender. ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! (actually not. I'll research Harding later and compare him to Bush in another post. no time now.) |
