i have this red rash this near my chest...any suggestions of how to get rid of it? it's itchy at times and i'm sure it wasn't a bug bite or anything similar to that...

stop scratching it even if it makes you wanna scratch it like bloody hell. try washing it and putting lotion on it to soothe it.

Dont' scratch. Try anti-bacterial lotion, or anti itch cream. See if it helps. If the promblem is still there or worsens in a few days, go to a doctor.

Don't scratch it. Wash it really well with soap & then put on itchy medicine. I'm sure it will go away in days. [:

put some vaseline on it...
lotion never helps for me.
it could be that rash for people with sensitive skin...
eggzima or something like that???
from big daddy?
i had the same rash, but as soon as i put on this medicine, it went away the next day.
the medicine's called: betamethasone dipropionate ointment usp, 0.05%.
=T get it prescribed...
best help i could do for now.

^^agreed.

wheee.. just don't scratch it. no matter how itchy it is, if you scratch it more it might bleed or stay there forever. lols. >< it'll go away by itself if you leave it alone for awhile. =)

Is it all the time? Might want to check with a doctor if it is.

If not, (as someone said) try washing it, then some lotion. If that doesn't work, try an oatmeal bath.

Depends on what kind of rash it is. Sometimes drinking Benadryl and taking a short nap would help the rash go away. But this only happens if your skin is sensitive to a certain something. Like, I'm allergic to MSG in certain foods, and if I eat it, most likely I'll get a skin rash. The medication will help but taking a nap afterwards will heal the rash quicker. If this doesn't help, then either follow any of the suggestions and recommendations the above posters have said. Otherwise, call up a dermatologist.
