I've been feeling that way lately... just lik nobody cares, but like I've lost all my friends. Not that I have, I just have MAJOR mood swings.
Hopefully it's just a phase, but don't feel alone, there are A TON of anime lovers.

Sure everyone feels alone at times, after break ups, after deaths, after anything that might have a major change in your life or even at times for no reason. I find the best solution is to just turn up some music and really get in touch with the music. Like a good song thats nice to listen to whenever you feel lonely would be The Vines - Winning Days

yeah i always feel that way ever since...hmm..4th grade? friends..thot they would understand but they dont. which sucks. im stuPid, and my parents and friends always make a big deal about that. yeah i feel like im on the edge of breaking down and no ones there to save me.. i cry average percent once per day? i suck. im always HURT inside and i feel down..my friends arent that nice either..teh mean friends that is..sometimes im left out..yeah my life sucks

i feel very lonely my fiancee has just left for iraq for about 2 years, so now i live in an apartment all by myself... so your friend problem isnt much... I dint say it wasnt a reason to feel alone... plus the guy i was with before i met my fiancee was controling and for some reason i stayed with him... Sometimes. But I have a lot of friends... and at least half of them like anime/manga. Anime doesn't rule my life though... if I'm ever lonely, I just call one of them up on the phone.

Why not try that? Just call them up randomly, say you're bored, need a good laugh, and are they busy? If so, try someone else. If not, find something common ground to chat about.

Also finding some new friends who like what you like might help. Don't completely ditch your old friends, but if they're never there for you, you should find someone who is.
