Hey I was wondering what are good fonts to use when creating an avatars, like regular fonts?

Regular fonts? Um...if you're going for a simple look with maybe one word, Georgia/Times will look good.
If you're thinking about pixel fonts, my favourite is Silkscreen and FFF Harmony. |

silkscreen, mini, redensek, 04b_03, 04b_03b, 04b_21, check common fonts in the webdesign forum at the very top. its pinned.

mini and hooge pixel fonts work well, too. And yes, Times new Roman and in my opinion, georgia will work well, too.

maybe small arial .. if your going with the whole normal/plain look + all the fonts everyone said are good too
