Just wondering, are any of you friends with your ex's and if so, how long did it take before the awkwardness went away and for you guys to be friends?

My boyfriend still talks to his first girlfriend.. I get jealous.. stubborn.gif He goes to her house when he was SUPPOSED to meet up with me.. mad.gif

Well..My bf nd I broke up a few weeks ago. We still talk..but it sucks..cuz he acts meaner towards me then wen we were frends. I guess its still awkward..I hate it. Now we cant talk like wen we were frends. Bleh..I vow never to date my close frens again......jk? lol

I want to be friends with my ex, but he just keeps on ignoring me... and here I thought we broke up mutually...
Anyways, my boyfriend is still friends with two of his ex's, and that gets me really jealous. And, next week, he's gonna be at one of their houses for a party, where the other girl is going, and I can't go, so, I'm bleh about that too.

yep...friends with all 3. good friends too, haha. but they were all from my freshman year or the summer after my freshman year so yeah..with my first ex, it took months, my second, months, and my third...months. hmm....yeah.

um... well i dont know where any of my boyfriends went so... no. for some reason they all left my school so i guess it's good that i never had to deal with the awkwardness of seeing them around school..or even worse, with another girl.

well i only had 1 ex .. and he cheated on me O_o but .. i didnt want to be friends with him because .. he was gay T.T ... well not really gay its just i thought he was pretty pathetic X: i guess it depends on the circumstances?

well actually, one of them's my best friend! Well, we broke up in April last year and it took till the end of may so like month... but then it was awkward until June so 2 months?

Yeah I'm still friends with my ex. We were bestfriends before we started going out though and now we're just friends.... It took us like 2 months... pinch.gif

im always friends with my exes, cept this one dude who was always harassing me, so yeah. he still does. he wont stop calling.

but yeah, im still always friends with them, and its hard sometimes cos the feelings MiGHT come back, but right after we break up the awkwardness (for me) goes away in like 2 minutes. cos im always cracking a joke or something.

one of my closest friends is an ex of mine... it took a while... and a separation period... and then a commitment from both of us to WANT to be friends... but at LEAST a couple months
