the first link :: i say you get rid of the horizontal scrollbar .. but it looks nice
the second link:: it looks nice but i think the banner and module/blog should be the same size .. but nice job

The second one is better than the first, although it is very difficult to read.
Why do you like it big? It seems horribly tacky to me. You should scale the image down and use transparent scrollbars on your DIV blog. |

the first layout, it`s nice. i like the color, but i don`t see the need of using black for the scrollbar.
the second layout, i like the banner & color, but you should`ve made the blog & modules as wide as the banner. |

ther first one made the img resolution smaller
the second one rthe banner look nice but need some border around the blog. |
