layout help!

i made my own skin and put in the coding, but my background image won't fill up the whole screen. :( is it because i have to make it a certain size when i create it on photoshop? sorry if i'm not making any sense.

Yeah,
if your settings on your computer are at 1024x768 or something, then make the background on 1024x768 or something...

the layout i created is set at 1024 x 768. this is my layout i would like to add:


and this is how it turned out:


i just started off with the first code, which was

and it ended up on top, and didnt fill up the whole page. does that help? very confused, help!

Your xanga is bigger than your image. In other words... make it bigger or change the layout a bit. But keep in mind that not everyone has the same resolution.

You also need a div layer for the blog, so you can move it to the spot in the image. So the image isn't on top.
